This 31" central post is compatible with all of the vertically mounted ID Series Creator Tree accessory arms and the 41" crossbar. Q: 1. Will this microphone work when connected to a iPhone with a lightning connector using the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter?

A: Yes, it will. Please note, this setup would be meant for recording audio to a video or voice memo only.

Q: 2. What's the difference between this kit & iLED312-v2 3-Point Light Kit 3-Point for Video interview. It will be 70% of the time be indoor setup with normal background, & 30% of the time approx. Chromakey (greenscreen). Which would you recommend & why.

A: I think the smaller kit will work fine for single interviews. However, I do a lot of two-person interviews, so the one larger instrument is needed for the broader coverage.

Q: 3. Would this work on the 3.5mm adapter for the Gopro4 which is connected on the Gopro?

A: No - it is designed for devices offering a female 1/8 TRRS input like smartphones and tablets.

Q: 4. Do these lights come with the remote to dial up and down their power? Also do the light have tilt capability in the connection that goes on the stand?

A: These lights do not include any wireless remotes like our IFB or IFD lights, however local dimming and color temperature control is on the back of each light with a rotary knob and a LCD display.The IB508-V2 includes an adjustable light stand adapter which allows for tilt and each iLED312-v2 includes a ball head. All 3 lights can be tilted when using the stands and mounting accessories included in the kit.

Q: 5. What is the width of the rod clamps? Want to make sure this matches another shoulder rig I own.

A: The SmallRig Shoulder Rig Dual-Handle Kit are designed to work with the standard LWS 15mm rods which always have a spacing of 60mm.

Q: 6. I have a question about the Photo metrics. What is the lux output levels of these lights at full power?

A: At a distance of 3 feet, the IB508-v2 hits 2186 lux at 3200K and 2130 lux at 5600K. The iLED312-v2 reads 716 lux at 3200K and 723 lux at 5600K at 3 feet.

Q: 7. What is the maximum branch diameter that this clamp can hold?

A: The maximum diameter that this clamp will attach to is 4 .

Q: 8. Will this work if connected to a Win 10 2-in-1 PC? Not sure if PCs provide the power needed to operate the mic.

A: It will not work in your computer. That is a TRRS cable made for phones. You can try turning it into a TRS with this cable B&H # ROSC3 available on our website.

Q: 9. How long is the cable from mic to plug in.

A: Mine measures 49 . FWIW, it's an excellent mic, has very, very good vocal presence and lends itself reasonably well to hiding in collars, inside shirts, etc. Just be aware that it picks up audio around the periphery of the mic head, not directly from the front (the front of the mic has no sound holes for lack of a more elegant term.)I just used this thing for the first time with an Azden Pro XD wireless setup, and it worked great - zero breath pops, no wind noise, minimal to no shirt/fabric noise when properly mounted. It's light years ahead of the mic that comes with the Azden setup.

Q: 10. Will this work with the stock Android video recorder...or only with the Shure app? Thanks!

A: The MVL will work with any app capable of recording audio.

[7 lb] I had been in the market for a shoulder rig for about a year or so. Tried a couple different versions and brands. This was super easy to assemble, worked out perfect for the job I needed it for. The only thing I need now is a counter weight for heavier setups. Great piece of equipment though. 5

[7 lb] This is perfect for one-on-one interview. There are actually two cases that come with this kit. One is for the stands and the other is for everything else. It's a bit more than what I was expecting since I typically work with very small crews, but it's still keeping the gear to a minimum while having three quality lights to light a good interview shot. The option for changing the color temperature on all of these lights is also a nice feature. 5

[Yes] The shoulder rig is highly customizable and works well with my Canon 6D. I bought a cheese plate to mount more accessories and next I'll buy a counterweight. It's a good base to work off of but depending on your needs you may need to buy more accessories. 5

[7 lb] This rig, right out of the box, was easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy. The shoulder pad is very comfortable, the leather handles provide a strong (and stylish) grip. All together it takes about one minute to assemble and once broken down, takes almost no space in a bag. A must have for those who aren't keen on gimbals. 5

[7 lb] This lavalier mic can go under clothing while recording and it will not create a brushing sound. No need to purchase covers for it. When recording from the cell phone, always use a lavalier like this to prevent room echo. The phone's sound system picks up echos that our ears do not hear. 5

[Yes] I wanted an inexpensive lavalier mic to use with my iPad for making crafting videos for YouTube. This fits the bill perfectly. I especially appreciate the long cord, so I can easily move around while working on my craft and not have to worry about pulling on the iPad on the tripod. 5

[39.5 x 5.5 x 5"] We have multiple of the Camvate Shoulder Rigs for our video camera's. I can tell you I like the quality for the price and with B&H I can get them quickly. What my field camera operators will tell you is they are easy to use, comfortable for an extended time (like shooting football), they feel sturdy yet easy to adjust between operators and can take the constant jostle of moving about the field . For our purpose a counter weight is needed to balance the camera weight. A V-mount battery accomplishes that. This is a very good shoulder mount rig that does it's job, doesn't cost a ton and my people like. That's why we've made them our go to shoulder kit. 5
