The slim, lightweight, and optional battery power means that Liano is easy to carry and can be used in a wide variety of environments—indoors and outdoors.

  • The Liano is a mere 11.4" deep and just 2.9" thick—including speakers—while still offering a full-size 88-key keybed. You benefit from a slim, lightweight design, while keeping the important functionality and performance of a piano.
  • Even with 88 keys and speakers, this piano weighs just 13.2 lb (plus approx. 7 oz when six optional AA batteries are installed), so Liano is easy to move around and store as needed.

  • Turn the front panel dial to quickly switch between one of eight sounds including two grand pianos, two electric pianos, two organs, a harpsichord, or strings—it's that simple. The star amongst the sounds is a renowned Nautilus-derived Italian grand piano with a beautiful tone—a piano featured at concerts worldwide.
  • The Liano features two effects, reverb and chorus, that add richness to the sounds.

  • The two speakers are located on the front panel to bring the sound directly to you. The bass-reflex speaker features specially designed ports, providing a dynamic low-end sound that would otherwise be difficult to produce.
  • And for silent practice there is also a convenient headphone socket.

  • Even with built-in speakers, the Liano can run on six AA batteries, giving you approximately eight hours of playing time. Use Liano at home, school, or outside at parties, onstage, or in street performances—there is plenty of battery life.

  • The Liano uses a custom-designed Korg Light Touch (LS) keybed particularly recommended for beginners as well as for players who don’t like heavy key action.

  • Connect the Liano to a mobile device or computer via the USB port and use it as a master keyboard to record music on your DAW software, control an app that offers more piano sounds, or otherwise expand Liano’s functionality.
  • You can send music from your computer or mobile device to Liano and play along with your favorite songs.

The Liano is bundled with software to help improve your music making.

  • Skoove with several levels of piano lessons.
  • Korg Module and Korg Gadget 2 Le for DAW-based music production.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. It should come with a music rest, correct? I didn't see it and I couldn't find anywhere selling it. Please help me!

A: Thanks so much guys!!! I found it! It was hidden between the cardboard!

Q: 2. It's says it comes with a damper/sustain pedal, not that I don't trust the description, but I don't. I was wondering if someone could verify that for me, thanks.

A: There is a sustain pedal included with the piano. The pedal is a box type pedal, not a piano style pedal.

Q: 3. Could this be configured to control software such as lightroom or premiere pro?

A: This is feedback from users of this product. As long as you do not install the Korg MIDI USB drivers, it has the potential to be mapped to different DAWs. However with that being said, Korg as a manufacturer does not guarantee this controller to work with anything that does not support their drivers.

Q: 4. when this controller is used to control more than 9 channels..we need to go to the next bank of faders and after returning to first bank (1-9) previous values of software mixer faders jumped to the new settings when we try to move sliders of nano kontrol?

A: Because the faders are not automated, they will remain in the same physical position when you jump from one bank to another. However the levels on each bank will not change when you shift banks. The levels on the next set of banks will ONLY begin to change if you begin touching the faders.

Q: 5. I want to know that, does this controller can use in Sound Device Mixpre-10T?

A: No. This is designed to controll software within a DAW.

Q: 6. is it good for beginners

A: For learning to play keyboard, no, it is not very good as the keys are very small and do not feel like a real keyboard. For someone getting into computer music production, yes.

Q: 7. Does this stand fit the korg b2 piano?

A: This piano stand will fit the Korg B2 digital piano.

Q: 8. Does this purchase come with headphones, the stand for the keyboard and the pedal or do we have to purchase those separately? If so, what brand would be compatible?

A: This piano does not include those accessories. Here's a bundle kit we offer that you can purchase along with the piano. This will include the headphones, stand, and sustain pedal: BH #ULJSXS300K.

Q: 9. Does this work with Adobe Audition CC?

A: Thank you for your question. This unit will come with M1 Le (License), EzDrummer Lite (License), Lounge Lizard Session (License), and a Ableton "Live" Series (Discount Coupon). it does not come with any Adobe software

Q: 10. How snugly does this fit the Numa. I have an arturia Keylab essential that is 126.0 x 26.1 x 6.3 cm. Do you think that will fit? It's very close.

A: The internal dimensions for the StudioLogic Soft Case for Numa Compact 88-Key Digital Pianos (Black) are 127 x 22.86 x 10.16 cm. It appears that this case will not fit your Keylab Essential in the width measurement.

[Metronome] I love the Fatar keybed on this, as an amateur synth player it's one of the nicest I own. It has a good selection of voices, and a decent amount of control to customize them. The onboard effects are basic but sound good and in combination with the joystick controllers offer you a nice amount of textural control. The voices themselves are high quality and only really the synth and percussion voices come across as pedestrian. I'm not aware of any other piano that come close to this for the price.

[Yes] Love this digital Piano. I have a Yamaha Acoustic Piano to compare to. This korg 389u has outstanding key action and sound. I am extremely pleased with my korg 380u. 73 yr old 4th year student with weekly lessons. Get up early to practice and now I won't wake up my wife .

[Chorus, Reverb] This is the only budget DP which provides proper hammer response and repetitive notes (trills).
comparison:
Kawai RHC action - proper hammer response but no repetitiveness

Casio Scaled Hammer Action - modified hammer response
Roland PHA-4 action - no hammer response at all
Yamaha GHS action - no hammer response at all, no repetitiveness

[Chorus, Reverb] The keyboard is really fun to play and once you select the right velocity curve for your style of playing you can get a good dynamic range.
The keybed is semi-weighted meaning is not weighted BUT it feels good and coming from a weighted keyboard you can get used and do good parts for piano too, ep and organs are fast with this keybed.
Sounds are very good especially 60' 70' and 80'. I am using a lot the elec bass because is really convincing and funny to play.
Tonewheel organ is really cool, having physical drawbars, and with a volume pedal you can mimic the organ even better
Overall this keyboard is really fun and it makes everything easy to play, customize and balance.

[6x AA] B&H shipped quickly, had the best price around and the bundle was reasonably good quality. The Korg B2 has one of the best groupings of voices of ANY digital piano. The action is fast, weighted and graded. What it doesn't have is 300 voices, etc. If you are interested in playing piano or play professionally, this js a great instrument without the confusing stuff. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! B&H is one of the most reliable vendors I have ever dealt with. Kudos to them.

[2x 8 W] I am just learning the piano as an older adult after all these years. I did a lot of research into various makes and models. What it came down to was the reality that to start out, the key action is the most important aspect of a piano, with sound coming a close second. The RH3 piano bed on the Korg D1 feels absolutely amazing! Well balanced and smooth as silk. This is the same keyboard they use in the SV2 Vintage Piano. It's weighted and will help you develop good technique. And the sounds! I have read reviews that said the sounds are dated. Not the case at all. Particularly the organs and the e-pianos are marvelous. You will not be disappointed. My piano was delivered in great shape with no damage. I am thoroughly enjoying myself!

[8x Demo] I temporarily moved to another place but couldnt bring my yamaha ydp 163 with me so i decided to get a cheaper digital piano to play on.

After watching and reading reviews on this L1 Liano from Korg, i decided to purchase it.

First toff, dont expect a 350 keyboard to performance like a 500 dollar or more digital piano, it wont, but what it lacks in features and keybed feel, it does provide a good sounding keyboard and easy to move around.
You also get 88 keys.

First thing u notice is that the keybed isnt weighted. Its got the digital keyboard feel to it, but slightly better.

The sustain switch that came with it does a good job of holding down the notes. I was able to get a feel of it and play on it quite well, but of course i would prefer my ydp 163.

It comes only with a few onboard sounds. But they sound pretty good, even through its built in speakers.

For 350, i think it's a fairly good deal. Was hoping to get a blue one but bnh only carries the black one...

If you the market for a cheap good sounding "keyboard" that doesnt break the bank, give this one a shot. Dont expect weighted key action on this though. Even without the weighted key actions, im able to play most of my songs with little to no issue.

[8x Demo] First, B&H shipped the next day after ordering. Their package, which included a bench, headphones was decent quality. Korg has almost no bells and whistles in this piano, just gre3at sound and keyboard action for a learning or advanced piano player. Happy with my purchase and happy with B&H

[Yes] My son, who is used to playing on a baby grand, is thrilled with this keyboard. He wanted a keyboard to be able to play in his room, compose, record, etc. He loves the feel of the weighted keys and the different sound options (upright piano, old fashioned piano, etc.). I heard him playing the Minute Waltz and Maple Leaf Rag, and it sounded wonderful.

[Monochrome LED] Did a lot of research into what to get for my first proper digital piano, and so far very happy with going with the PX-S3100. Was considering the FP30X as the biggest competitor, along with the P125, DGX670B, and ES120. But for the price ($750) and all the extra sounds, I'm happy I went with the PX-S3100. Build quality feels solid, it feels and sounds like an analog piano. Also honestly part of the reason I went with it was that it just looks a whole lot nicer than the competition. And it's noticeably smaller and lighter than some of the competition too (looking at you DGX670B). If you're dead set on the most similar experience to an analog piano than the FP30X is probably want you want. But after playing it, I think there's a reason there only seems to be a single guy who is complaining so much about the key feel while everyone else considers itself perfectly fine.

So if you're looking for a really impressive beginner/intermediate digital piano for under $800, this is really what you want and I'm glad I went with it.
