To be more technical, a router does not need to be compatible with a service provider because it is a 'client' device to the modem in much the same way you can connect a computer directly to a modem. The key component in the set up is the modem and it is that component that needs to be compatible with Internet Service Provider networks. To be clear, we are not discussing modem/routers but just routers.

A: Yes, you can do that using 2 x MR2200AC.

A: It won't support the mesh function, and will only work as an access point for wireless. It is designed to work as a mesh wireless device along with an RT2600AC router from Synology. It won't even support the mesh function with an RT1900AC synology router, only the RT2600AC.

Q: 9. Does this router support NTP/PTP?

I absolutely love Meraki Products and that doesn't change with the Meraki Go line of products. The Meraki Go Lineup combines the affordability of consumer products and the experince of Meraki's enterprise Hardware. Setup was painless with the guidance of the Meraki Go app. If you have used any of the Meraki enterprise products, Meraki Go is very much simiar with a smaller and more digestable feature set making it very friendly for even the least tech savvy. 5

Despite what you may hear, Macs are harder to crack into but they are still prone to getting a virus and mallows attempts at hacking into your computer. So far this software has stopped a lot of trojans from entering my MAC. The Mac people will say you don't need it. Honestly, you really do need to have it and this one works very well- Built for the MAC - it works well with the MAC. Not expensive either. WORTH IT! 5
