Great choice if you cannot afford Canon 500mm or 600mm Prime , these are the best lens by far even if they are used.Only problem with G2 I did not like was adding a 1.4 converter with it.They might have improved on the 1.4 by nowJust remember you need more light with the G2 Have fun
