This version comes in a solid navy blue color.

Pro size is ideally suited for DSLRs with 200-400mm, 300mm f/2.8, and longer prime telephoto lenses up to 800mm. The hood extension sleeve provides full coverage of 600mm and 800mm lenses when using them with their hoods attached.

Cinch straps adjust the total cover length by folding the material over itself and keeping the cover snug on variable sized lenses.

Lightweight, waterproof, and breathable poly tricot material with tape-sealed seams protects the lens and camera from rain, snow, salt spray, dirt, sand, and dust.

No-slip rubber is added to the front section to provide a solid grip on the lens hood without the use of a bungee cord.

Two integrated side pockets reveal foldaway arm sleeves for easy access to camera and lens controls.

A hook-and-loop closure runs along the bottom of the cover to permit the use of a tripod or monopod, as well as manual focus control of the lens barrel.

The size and shape of the rear opening can be adjusted for greater protection or for easier control access. This cover does not require the use of a dedicated eyepiece.

A mesh storage pouch is included for packing the cover when not in use.

Compatible with optional LensCoats, Hoodie lens caps, and camera BodyGuards.

Q: 1. Good afternoon,Will the Rain Coat 2 cover a 600mm f4 mounted on a Kirk KC-1 King Cobra Gimbal Tripod Head? Or will I have to use a ball head?Thank you for your help.

A: The rain coat will not work with a Gimbal head like the Kirk KC-1 King.

Q: 2. How well does this fit the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary? Would the Raincoat 2 Standard be a better fit (although I fear it might be slightly too small)?

A: I use this cover for my Nikon 200-400mm with 1.4 extender. Works great.

Q: 3. will this work well with a nikon 55-300mm?

A: Should work fine, I have a Canon 100 x 400 I use.

Q: 4. How well does this fit the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary? Would the Raincoat 2 Standard be a better fit (although I fear it might be slightly too small)?

A: I do not have Sigma 150-600mm lens. I bought the raincoat 2 for Nikon 400mm, 2.8 lens, and I have not used it in the field yet.

Q: 5. Will the lenscoat bodyguard CB work with this cover?

A: The camera could be in the LensCoat BodyGuard CB when using the LensCoat RainCoat 2 Pro Camera Cover.

Q: 6. I have a Nikon 810 with a Tamron 150-600mm G2. Does anyone have experience with this lens and this specific LensCoat RainCoat 2 Pro Camera Cover? If so, does it cover the entire setup?

A: I use this with a canon 7d mark ii and 5d mark 3. Great choice if you cannot afford Canon 500mm or 600mm Prime , these are the best lens by far even if they are used.Only problem with G2 I did not like was adding a 1.4 converter with it.They might have improved on the 1.4 by nowJust remember you need more light with the G2 Have fun

Q: 7. Other than long lenses I have a few wide angle lenses (Like Nikon 14-24 and Nikon 8-15) can this raincoat be adjusted in case I would want to use one of the small lenses?

A: It won't work with a small lens like that as the material will bunch up too much. I would recommend a smaller rain cover like this one for those lenses. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1431014-REG/think_tank_photo_740618_emergency_rain_cover_small.html

Q: 8. Would the LensCoat RainCoat Standard 2 camera cover work with a Canon 100-400II and a 1.4xiii attached teleconverter?

A: Yes, that setup will work fine with the Standard coat.

Q: 9. I'm very interested in this product, my only concern is I own a Nikkor 200-500mm, but the product tops out at 400mm. Any thoughts about my predicament, potential issues you see owning the product? I assume I would be limited as to how far I could zoom, but I appreciate your feedback.

A: The 200-500 is long. Protects to about 300mm. With lens hood on, you can have protection to greater zoom. Unless you a photographing in a down pour, the raincoat protects well.

Q: 10. Does this also help protected the camera from the sun/ help keep a dslr from overheating?

A: Nicole , Don't think it would , but it's the best shooting bad weather , rain /snow/fog . I would not use it for overheating just use a white towel . Walt

[10 x 8.9 x 1"] Good design, fits Nikon 600 very well Additional cover can be used to extend to an 800mm. Or can be used as a rain cover for front of the lens.

[Blue] Tried for the first time and was a little nervous in a downpour but not one drop or any moisture touched the camera. VERY PROUD of the purchase of this RainCoat!

[0.85 lb] Although I need to get caught up in the rain, this seems to be what I will be happy that I purchased. I have done test-runs with fitting it to my gear and as we all know, practice is what gets us to Carnegie Hall. Don’t wait for a rainstorm to whip it out.

[Yes] After a recent 5 day shoot in mixed cold and wet weather I can easily say this product is just right. It kept the lenses and camera body dry; afforded easy viewfinder visibility and had the added benefit of allowing warm hands.

[10 x 8.9 x 1"] I use this raincoat with the Sigma 150-600mm Sports Lens. I have bought numerous products from B&H with regard to LensCoat products and I have to say that this raincoat was a great investment. Although it may seem a little pricey, I have used it dozens of times and my gear has never gotten wet. The velcro attachments allow the raincoat to fit snug onto the lens so that it does not flap around in the wind. The sleeves are retractable into the raincoat when they are not in use. The raincoat is still compatible to place your lens on a tripod head or gimbal.

[10 x 8.9 x 1"] This is typical quality from Lens Coat. I have a lot of their products and have never been disappointed. You can access your camera body from the back, you can access the focus or zoom through the sleeve and if you don't want to use the sleeves on either side, you can use them as pockets.

My only complaint is as a wildlife photographer, we are always battling weight allowances and this little unit takes up a lot of room and a lot of weight based on what it is. That being said, it is also protecting your most valuable assets while on safari...So, I will just take a couple fewer shirts I suppose. :)
