[Yes] I've been wiring studios with 8451 for 30+ years. It is great to work with, it's tough enough for portable use, and bundles of wire are small enough to be manageable. The gray jacket version allows for marking cables with a sharpie (and a pair of reading glasses!) 5

[34 pF/ft] We relocated our sound booth from the balcony to the main floor in our church sanctuary and we needed to extend the sends/returns about 25ft. Given the price of audio snakes, we decided to make our own. We found this product to be just the thing for our balanced runs: a twisted pair surrounded by a solid foil shield with ground wire. The cable was of excellent quality, and the plenum jacket helped us comply with fire code. NOTE: This product is intended for permanent behind the wall installations. It is not meant to be used in situations that would expose it to frequent flexing, e.g. an on-stage mic cord. 5
