The Striplight is a lamphead unique to Broncolor. It produces a soft, slim, even light without the bulk of a flash head and separate strip dome.

The Striplight 60 is similar in design to the Lightbar 60 except that instead of a round diffuser, the striplight has a flat panel and side masks, making it more directional. This can be further emphasized by adding a honeycomb grid to the front panel of the striplight.

The Striplight is compatible with many older Broncolor packs, ensuring that equipment will hold its value over many years. A power supply for this flash head is required.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use the poco lite with new Mobile battery pack? And is there any advantage to using pico heads over the heads that come with the new mobile packs?

A: Yes you can use the Picolite with the Move 1200L or Mobil battery power packs, however only the flash functionality will work. The modeling light and fan will not function when plugged into a battery pack. I think it would be preferable to use the dedicated heads with the battery pack (MobiLed with Move 1200L) so that you can have a modeling lamp and fan cooling) Only if you needed to use the dedicated and unique light shapers designed for the Picolite would it be advantagous to use the picolite with a battery pack.

Q: 5. can this light be powered only by the broncolor battery pack or can it be used by being plugged into a wall socket?

A: the Broncolor picolite will work on Broncolor powerpack ONLY. Either the scoro or the Move for the battery option

Q: 6. What is the difference between the Picolite and the Mobilite?

A: The Picolite would be a fan cooled head when connected to a Broncolor AC pack such as the Senso A2. On the other hand, the Mobilite would not offer fan cooling and is only for the Broncolor battery powered packs such as the Mobil A2L. Otherwise, both heads are rated for 1600 w/s and have about the same weight/size.

Q: 9. Can i use this lamp on broncolor senso pack ?

Q: 10. Are this compatible with move pack as flash ?

[Proprietary] This is the first and only flash gear I have used aside from Profoto. This gear is hard working and very consistent. My gear has traveled extensively and has always worked flawlessly on arrival. It is not fancy or trendy but has been a key component in my work, commissioned or personal.

[Proprietary] Once you've used them and the Bron pack, you know why they cost so much. I bought mine used from a guy retiring as part of a whole studio of equipment that I purchased. You can literally blind yourself (temp) so be careful with a bare bulb. I shoot product all day long at f22 and these loaf along with a 3200 WS pack. Workhorses. Mine are at least 15-20 years old and still doing well!

[Proprietary] This softbox was included with my Siros light kit. It is made well. The best thing regarding this softbox is how easy and quick it is to set up. No having to flex the rods or risk overstretching the panels or tearing the seams, snap tabs like select other brands of modifiers. I also like the optional light grid not offered with other softboxes.
