This version comes in a solid green color.

Cover size is well-suited to DSLRs with standard-length telephoto lenses, ranging from 100mm lenses up to 400mm f/5.6 focal length lenses.

Lightweight, waterproof, and breathable poly tricot material with tape-sealed seams protects the lens and camera from rain, snow, salt spray, dirt, sand, and dust.

No-slip rubber is added to the front section to provide a solid grip on the lens hood without the use of a bungee cord.

Cinch straps adjust the total cover length by folding the material over itself and keeping the cover snug on variable sized lenses.

Two integrated side pockets reveal foldaway arm sleeves for easy access to camera and lens controls.

A hook-and-loop closure runs along the bottom of the cover to permit the use of a tripod or monopod, as well as manual focus control on the lens barrel.

The size and shape of the rear opening can be adjusted for greater protection or for easier control access. The design of the cover also does not require the use of a dedicated eyepiece.

A mesh storage pouch is included for packing the cover when not in use.

Compatible with optional LensCoats, Hoodie lens caps, and camera BodyGuards.

Q: 1. Would the LensCoat RainCoat Standard 2 camera cover work with a Canon 100-400II and a 1.4xiii attached teleconverter?

A: Yes, that setup will work fine with the Standard coat.

Q: 2. Does this also help protected the camera from the sun/ help keep a dslr from overheating?

A: Nicole , Don't think it would , but it's the best shooting bad weather , rain /snow/fog . I would not use it for overheating just use a white towel . Walt

Q: 3. Will the lenscoat bodyguard CB work with this cover?

A: The camera could be in the LensCoat BodyGuard CB when using the LensCoat RainCoat 2 Pro Camera Cover.

Q: 4. Other than long lenses I have a few wide angle lenses (Like Nikon 14-24 and Nikon 8-15) can this raincoat be adjusted in case I would want to use one of the small lenses?

A: It won't work with a small lens like that as the material will bunch up too much. I would recommend a smaller rain cover like this one for those lenses. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1431014-REG/think_tank_photo_740618_emergency_rain_cover_small.html

Q: 5. Will it work with a Nikon D90 and a 150-500 lens?

A: Yes, the LensCoat RainCoat Standard will be compatible with the Nikon D90 and 150-500mm Sigma lens.

Q: 6. The LensCoat Pro feels much too large for my Canon R5 + RF 100-500mm. Would the Standard be a better fit?

A: Yes, the non pro one, LensCoat RainCoat Standard (Realtree Max4) will be a better fit than the Pro for the R5/ RF 100-500 setup.

Q: 7. Good afternoon,Will the Rain Coat 2 cover a 600mm f4 mounted on a Kirk KC-1 King Cobra Gimbal Tripod Head? Or will I have to use a ball head?Thank you for your help.

A: The rain coat will not work with a Gimbal head like the Kirk KC-1 King.

Q: 8. Will the rain coat 2 work with 500 f/4 IS USM and a Induro GHB2 gimbal head?

A: I use it with a Nikon 600mm lens, D4S body, Wimberley gimbal head (210 I think) on a big Gitzo tripod. Works great. The two hand/arm holes are terrific in a downpour! Nice to have the front hood you can just slip over the front of the lens when not actually shooting.

Q: 9. will this work with the wimberley gimbal?

A: In theory, since there is an opening for the lens collar/foot, it should work. In practice though, it might be a little cumbersome to use and balance when on the Wimberley gimbal. I'd recommend practicing/attempting to balance lens on your gimbal at home before taking it out onto the field.

Q: 10. Does it work with Sony A1 + FE 200-600 with the lens hood attached?

A: Yes this would cover the 200-600 with lens hood mounted on an A1 quite nicely.

[Universal] Purchased to use in Alaska this summer at Lake Clark. All LensCoat products that I've purchased in the past have been 5 star and I'm sure this will be too. It fits perfectly and was simple to use when I gave it a test run.

[0.555 lb] After I received my Lenscoat Raincoat I put it on my lens/camera setup to see how it would fit, and it fit perfect. I have a Canon R6 Mark ll with a battery grip, a 500mm f4 lens and hood, and it all fit great. It's easy to put on and take off the tripod as well. Sometimes I leave it on just to camouflage my setup. Haven't had it out in the rain or snow, but I can see it will work real good.

[0.555 lb] This is typical quality from Lens Coat. I have a lot of their products and have never been disappointed. You can access your camera body from the back, you can access the focus or zoom through the sleeve and if you don't want to use the sleeves on either side, you can use them as pockets.

My only complaint is as a wildlife photographer, we are always battling weight allowances and this little unit takes up a lot of room and a lot of weight based on what it is. That being said, it is also protecting your most valuable assets while on safari...So, I will just take a couple fewer shirts I suppose. :)

[0.555 lb] I used to fear taking my equipment out in the rain, but no more. With the LensCoat RainCoat I actually relish it! The LensCoat RainCoat provides complete protection to my camera and whichever lens I have on it. Outstanding quality, it's soft, easy to put on, easy to use in the rain, dries quickly, and stores nicely in a small, convenient pouch (provided with RainCoat). I found the video about the LensCoat RainCoat 2 on the LensCoat website to be helpful on how to put on and use the RainCoat. The front of the RainCoat fastens securely to the front of my lens hoods. For those zoom lenses that rotate as they zoom, the RainCoat will rotate as well because it is securely attached to the front of the lens/lens hood. No problem, the rotation isn't that great and it does not impair the performance of the RainCoat at all; just be aware that it will rotate. I shoot a lot of auto racing photography, and weather cannot be avoided. But the LensCoat RainCoat 2 has solved all my problems with wet weather. I believe it will solve yours, too. A really top quality, well engineered product.

[0.555 lb] Using this cover with a Canon 60D with 70-200. I really like the positioning of the arm holes they give excellent access to the control. It also works great when using a viewfinder like a Zacuto for monitoring your screen. I was actually shooting a paintball tournament in the rain as the test run. I held up great and kept everything safe from rain and paintballs. It worked great with a monopod as well.

[0.555 lb] I used this on my camera for ground level photography on the beach. It did a great job keeping the sand off my camera. I did not use the hand pockets as intended - only to manage my zoom. For the controls I push it back - it was not raining and I was not in the surf so no need to cover the body or back of the camera. If used that way, you really must know your camera buttons by touch.
