The Wooden Camera MFT to PL Adapter is an MFT (Micro Four-Thirds) lens mount adapter that enables mounting of all PL mount lenses onto the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera.

The adapter features a foot for attaching to a tripod, thus directly eliminating the strain on the camera. The foot can also be attached directly to a Pocket Cage (sold separately) using the 2 included screws.

The adapter also comes with a PL Cap to prevent dust from entering the sensor area when the lens is not attached.

A: The adapter itself will also work with any MFT camera like the BMCC MFT, GH3, AF100, etc. This particular kit includes a support foot that is designed for the Pocket camera.

A: No, the Wooden Camera PL Lens Mount Adapter for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera is not compatible with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro.

A: Including the Wooden Camera Unified Accessory Kit for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, there are no cages that accommodate the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K L mount at this time.

Q: 4. Is it perfect for Fuji camera x-t3?

A: Yes you could use it to mount Arri PL lenses on a Fuji X-T3.

Q: 5. Will this work on a BMCC?

A: In theory if you have a BMCC with micro four thirds mount this mount should work...the issue is that the sensor size between the two cameras Is different, The Cinema camera is bigger. I think you need to do a practical test on the matter.

Q: 6. Does the Universal Support Foot fit or work with the Smallrig Cage (3227) installed on a Sigma fp? I heard that the L-mount side fitting is not snug and the support is necessary.

A: The universal support foot should not be necessary when using the SmallRig cage.

Q: 7. Does this mount have back focus adjustability? It is not sharp at infinity.

A: All of our mounts are engineered and tested to exact specification for PL Mount sensor distance. However, if you wish to be able to adjust the mount in the future you should instead choose the MFT to PL Mount Pro (Pocket, BMMCC, BMMSC). Wooden Camera part number 179600. This kit comes with a shim set and the mount can be adjusted should the cameras backfocus change over time.

Q: 8. will Cannon DSLR lens's attach to this?

A: No you cannot attach a DSLR lens as the mounts are different. This is a PL mount adaptor what you have to look for is Canon EF adaptor for Black magic

A: For this you will want to purchase our Battery Slide + Rod Clamp 15mm LW or our Battery Swing.

[0.51 lb] This was a great fit for my Black Magic Pocket Camera, even withouth the shims that you get with the Pro versionf for $ more. Maybe I was just lucky that it worked with the old Canon 8-64mm Super 16 lens I wanted to use, can't speak for other 16mm lenses. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] Perfect fit to BMCC and Pocket cam. Use a lot of big primes and wide zooms off of the camera truck and they attach beautifully onto the smaller blackmagic rigs. Highly recommended. 5

[0.51 lb] Got this to mount some s16 Zeiss Super Speeds to my BMPCC. Works wonderfully, and the camera keeps a very pro look so no one will freak out if you try to use the BMPCC as a b-cam on set. There were definitely tolerance issues when I mounted lenses that had been adapted to PL mount. But when I tried out and purchased lenses that were factory PL mounts they fit like a glove. I'd blame the after market lens adaptations and not this Wooden Camera mount I ended up going with the Wooden Camera cage too, just for the extra support that this mount offers from connecting to it as will as the camera's mount. I felt like just the MFT mount on the camera could allow for a little play. 5
