The black CM31-EZ In-Ceiling Speaker from SoundTube Entertainment is a 3" speaker for distributed audio applications. The CM31-EZ incorporates a low profile grille with a total visible footprint of 6.3" diameter and an integrated backcan and driver design for ultra compact in-ceiling installations. The in-ceiling speaker includes a six-position tap switch with a transformer bypass position. A tile bridge and mounting hardware are included and feature a fast and secure constant tension Speed Wing mounting system. The CM31-EZ Speaker incorporates weatherized components for indoor/outdoor applications.

Engineered for rapid installation and low profile mounting for smaller venues, this speaker is suitable for retail, restaurants, conference rooms, educational facilities, or any setting where full-range intelligibility, low profile design, and in-ceiling installation ease are paramount.

A: According to the Tile website, it will come with a 1-Year Replaceable Battery. They will need to be contacted directly if you are needing a Replacement in the future. Hope this helps.

A: Unfortunately, there are no wider feet available for this product.

A: Yes the Sidus Link Bridge can work with the original C120D.

[Hardwire lead] We used these speakers to replace our old, tired ceiling speakers. They sounded much better than expectations, and for the price, were a true value.Value and price point are always important..but even those things are worthless without customer service, during and after the sale. [Hardwire lead] I've been using these speakers for about 12 years now. My company has been using them for longer than that. We have around 250 grocery stores with an average of around 15 speakers in each store. So about 3750 speakers. We have maybe 4 dead speakers a year. Probably less. Of those that go bad, almost all of them are over 10 years old. Can't get much better than that. 5

[Black] We used this product in the ceiling of our conference room. These speakers are VERY loud for only having a 1-watt amplifier built in. You will NEED to purchase separately, the 24 volt power supply for EACH speaker in use in order to install these and have them function. Installation is super-easy and requires NO tools if mounting in suspended ceiling tiles. I highly recommend these. 5

[4 lb] Very good quality, easy installation, just cut a hole in the drywall/sheet rock with the included template, connect the wires, push the speaker into the cut out, the three holding arms will spring into place and you are done. Very good back ground sound for a small speaker. 5

[3.1 lb (1.4 kg)] I searched long and hard for speaker mounts to use for a set of Monitor Audio Bronze surround speakers that weighed about 11 pounds. Although I ended up having to cut down the plate so it could attach properly to the speaker, something I would have had to do for several of the mounts I considered, it ended up working well. The mounts are very strong, they are small and do not stand out, they provide limitless angling options, and I could not be happier with the install. It is hard fo find the perfect mount without being willing to perform some fabrication for speakers that weigh what mine weigh. 5

[3.1 lb (1.4 kg)] How we use this product: We purchased this product to use in a classroom (25'by 30' with 8 ft ceiling). We have a computer connected to this projector and wanted to pass sound through the projector to this speaker. Things that are great: Easy installation - Sounds Great - Sound dispersion of 120 degrees helps hearing it very well all over classroom - Looks very nice attached to ceiling - Sound can also be controlled by projector remote control and/or computer volume control - Volume control on speaker helps balance - Simple directions - Great price! One thing that we have learned is that we can connect several of these speakers together. I also asked the company about connecting a second speaker to this one - they indicated that it is possible to daisy chain up to 6 of these together. (Ask company support for more details.) To complete the install - you will need Bogen Communications PRS2403 24V DC, 300 mA Power Supply and either speaker wire (18 gauge is recommended) and a 3.5mm connector (solder or screw type) or one can purchase a cable with bare wire on one end and 3.5mm connector on the other end. This is used between the speaker and projector audio output. It is a great speaker and it is working great in our school classroom. I would highly recommend this product. 5
