[Black] Most headphones are too tight, squeezing my head til I get a headache after just a few minutes. These are just right, tight enough to keep other sound out but not squishing my head. Earcups are also very comfortable. Sound quality is good and volume control is nice.

[0.245 lb] Too many headsets squeeze too hard and give me a headache. Not these! Very comfortable cushions and not a tight squeeze. Also amplifies sound a bit to help out those softer audio tracks.

[0.245 lb] 100% Recommended, these pads are so much better than the OEM pads that come with the HD700. The OEM pads always get dirty and are hard to clean compared to these.


The sound stage does change ever so slightly as the drivers are further away from your ears a bit but its not a big change so its nothing I would be concerned about it.

[Black] Bought this handy bundle in hopes that the microphone has better dynamic presence, especially when sitting across the table from other speakers. I'm delighted that it has front/back mics, and that the gain is easily accessible on the mic. The headphones are a real bonus and the fact that AKG had the forethought to provide a splitter cable to accommodate two sets of headphone was spot-on.

[0.245 lb] These are really great for the DT 1990 Pro. They are more comfortable then the A pads and they widen the sound just a little while softening the sharp highs of the 1990s. They might not be as analytical but I much prefer them. They also feel very durable so I'm sure they'll last the distance.

[Black] Good replacements for OEM ear pads. Fit and finish is excellent. Memory foam is a bit more firm and thicker than the original pads, should last longer if that is any indicator.

[Black] I have seen others talk of awful sound quality. Not my experience at all. I wouldn’t mix on them or anything, but they are more than good enough for playback and general monitoring. Bluetooth works great. Their controls are lacking and good for volume only, but that isn’t why I got them. I got them to get rid of a cord under my chair.

[0.245 lb] The stock replacements from Grado are uncomfortable and they deteriorate badly. These are comfortable, give a better fit, and give my R-1’s a richer and fuller sound.

[Black] I replaced my Audeze LCD2s pads with these. The Dekoni pads are a little thicker than the stock ones, so I have to extend the yokes a bit to fit my head.


They are very comfortable and very easy to install but they do change the sound a bit. Personally I like the new sound signature. Hopefully they last longer than the stock Audeze pads.

[0.245 lb] Love this mic and headphone combo. Used it on a Facebook live & YouTube live streams last week and the audio was crisp and clear. Also use this on Zoom and WebEx calls with the headphones for background noise free meetings.
