Many aspects of the Debut Carbon EVO have been addressed to dampen vibration to help ensure pristine, noise-free playback. TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material has been placed under the 12" steel platter, lining the outer edge, and is also used on the adjustable metal feet. The weight of the platter, at 3.8 lb, also helps with vibration, reducing wow and flutter. Even the motor assists in clean audio reproduction by being shielded and decoupled from the plinth with its own TPE dampening material.

The elliptical diamond stylus of the Sumiko Rainier cartridge is ideally suited for the thin grooves of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm vinyl, delivering smooth trackability and clear analog audio. It's factory-mounted onto an 8.6" low-mass carbon fiber tonearm, and the stylus is replaceable without ever needing to replace the cartridge, reset the alignment, or rebalance the tonearm.

Wanting to provide vinyl fans with a turntable free of regular testing and adjustment to maintain proper speeds, Pro-Ject has incorporated an electronically controlled speed control in the Debut Carbon EVO. With the press of the rocker switch under the plinth, you can set the motor to an accurate and stable 33 1/3, 45, or 78 rpm speed. Please note that 78 rpm requires the stylus and drive belt to be changed. A 78 rpm-compatible stylus is not included, but the Debut Carbon EVO does come with a round 78 rpm drive belt.

[1x 2RCA Output] I came from an entry-level turntable, so I was expecting a difference, but not like this! On every record I play, I hear something I've never noticed before. And the wood finish is beautiful; no more white gloves when doing maintenance! Couldn't be happier with this turntable.

[1x 2RCA Output] Playing Peter Gabriel’s The Rhythm of the Heat. Bringing down the house. The Beatles 2018 White Album and Abbey Road. Beautiful. Plenty of bass and highs. Paired it all up with a Rotel MKII and a pair of KLH Model 5’s. Extremely nice pairing for authentic vinyl reproduction. Everything sounds loud and clear, no hum or fuzz when playing vinyl through the Rotel’s phono amp. This turntable has gold-plated connectors and according to the us.technics website (https://us.technics.com/products/direct-drive-turntable-system-sl-1500c-k) lots of separation in the components to reduce noise. This is an excellent pairing for my needs. I do not know if I will use the auto lift feature. But nice just in case. Highly recommend this turntable in this price range. Extremely rigid and heavy build. I looked at a few other turntables in this price range and sure, you can get a Rega Planar 3, very cool, but I just felt that it was too fine and delicate for my setup. Plus I decided I didn’t want a belt drive. I guess I’m not a purist. I wanted something beefy and this is a beast with refinement. Super quiet and beautiful, matte-black version. Highly recommend it.

[17.1 lb] There are some good turntables on the market, but I can tell that you can't go wrong with this one.
My experience with B&A has always been good, they are very professional!

[1x 2RCA Output] Took a chance on this turntable after reading much research and review reading online, so glad I purchased it! Super easy set up out of the box, had it up and going in about 15 minutes. Flawless performance, the Ortofon 2m blue cartridge is a great compliment to this table. The Direct Drive system is completely quiet, and I absolutely love that the tonearm lifts automatically at the end of a record and stops the platter from moving. I would highly recommend this turntable to anyone!

[17.1 lb] The AT-LPW50PB is my original pick before we notice LP5X, choosing direct drive or belt drive is always a debate. Glad that B&H is short of their stock on LP5X, it makes me a lot easier to go with LPW50PB, lol.

The straight carbon-fiber tonearm is amazing, at least feeds my aesthetics. The black piano finishing surface is nice and clean. The overall looking is undoubtedly firm and gorgeous.

Talk about the operation and sound. Even though it's a fully manual TT, the initial calibration and play are super easy. It always makes me feel good to make my music by hand. The sound is perfect to me (I accompany the TT with a Marshall Stanmore II).

The service of B&H is top-notch, the online order pick-up only takes a couple of minutes. Glad they have a free parking lot for customers!

[1x 2RCA Output] This turntable has stunning sound at an amazing price. It might not be for everyone due to its design, but I love it. It has extremely low rumble and comes with a great sounding cartridge. Do make sure you have MM Phono-level input on your amp, or youll need a separate preamp to get a line level signal.

A great value. Top notch.
