[0.05 lb] I've had this product for two weeks and so far it does what it says it will do. I setup my camera on a tripod next to my birdfeeder and go in the house to watch for a good shot. Almost seems like cheating. The single shot is instant, if there is a delay I did not notice. The multi-shot is not high speed, or I have not figured out how to use it that way yet. Bulb setting works well too. This works way better than the infra red remote because you don't have to be in the line of sight for the infra red reader in front of the camera. You can be anywhere within distance. And the distance works well too! The only concern I have thus far is the antenna for the remote. I can see that getting broken by setting it down or sticking it in my back pocket and sitting on it. Only if I leave it fully extended - it does retract. (telescope type)I am enjoying it for the wildlife shots. The remote does take a battery, instructions say it should last three years under normal use. The battery is preinstalled in the remote. The main unit also takes a battery that you do install. So you will see one battery when you open the packaging. (I spent a little time wondering how the remote was powered because I didn't see the battery for it.)

[0.05 lb] Using this with a Nikon D700. Works as advertised and is a great accessory when shooting landscapes (on a tripod) or groups of folks at parties. Just hand them the transmitter and they automatically know how to pose and smile!

[0.05 lb] This remote is ideal for getting in the pictures with the whole class reunion a just taking shots of your self. Other remotes take a picture of you holding the remote. This one you can't tell who in the crowd is holding the remote. It will focus the camera and snap as many shots as you like without having to press the button on the camera for each shot.

[0.05 lb] I use the wireless remote for my 7D on a tripod. The receiver is secured nicely to the flash shoe. The remote transmitter on a lanyard (to which I affixed a small carabiner) hooked to a belt loop is kept available for when focusing and framing is done. It works flawlessly. Great purchase at great price.

[0.05 lb] I just got this and have taken about 50 shots with it. I have used a wired release on my cameras before but always wanted a remote trigger. I have used it to photograph birds on a feeder and on a log at over 50 feet away. It works great

[0.05 lb] I have a Nikon D300 and D700 and it works perfectly for everything I have needed it to so far. In low light and portrait photography, especially a family reunion where I had to be in the picture, it was easy to set up my camera, turn on the remote and stand back and start shooting away with just a click on the remote. And it beats the name brand versions by hundreds of dollars.
