[0.19 lb] Absolutely love the quality and finishing on this thing. It's the only cage that I know exists, that does not get in the way of installing the DJI wireless microphone device without any extension adapter. Also at the top, the start record button of the camera, is not covered by the cage nor the cold shoe and is easy accessible. The cold shoe is conveniently built away from the start to record button, that way mounted accessories don't interfere with you, when pressing the recording button, like it does in other cages. Well engineered. 5

The inclusion of the GoPro style mount at the bottom and cold shoe (with 1/4-20 threaded insert on one side) makes this your new daily case. Bonus feature is that you can open the SD/Power door while the case is installed (unlike the OEM case). 5

[0.19 lb] I ordered this because the cage that came with my DJI Action 4 adventure combo did not have a cold shoe build in. The Small Rig is solid, allows access to USB-C and battery ports without removing the cage, and has two attachment points for the DJI magnetic mount (portrait and landscape). 5

[0.19 lb] This cage came free with my Osmo Action 3 bundle and I didn't really look at the listing for the cage at all. I was surprised when it turned out to be metal, but it feels sturdy. I took it out with my cam over the weekend and it held up great. I like it a lot more than the plastic cases the cameras come with. It felt very protective and fit the camera very well. All the buttons worked and the snap felt quality. I'm pleased with the cage and would buy it again. 5
