With 3-channel lens control in an ultracompact form factor, the Teradek MDR.S Compact 3-Channel Lens Control Bluetooth Receiverfrom Teradek MDR.S Compact 3-Channel Lens Control Bluetooth Receiverallows you to control compatible RT motors for wireless focus, iris, and zoom functionality. The MDR.S has FHSS wireless technology that prevents interference and a 5000' line of sight range. A 6-pin port on the receiver allows you to trigger run/stop on the camera from your connected hand unit.

The MDR.S features a built-in OLED display with four buttons for control over various functions. Further parameters can be controlled via the device's integrated Bluetooth and the Teradek RT smartphone app. A 28V input range allows you flexibility in powering the receiver.

[5000' / 1524m] Picked up the Bolt 6 LT 750 Tx/Rx combo and needed an extra for the director's monitor. I can toss this on another SmallHD or even soft side it to the back of a giant 60 TV in video village for clients. Perfect addition to my setup for 2024. 5

[5000' / 1524m] I love this set of Transiers. Very easy to setup and run. In fact, no setup is required! Pairing is almost instantaneous. They do get hot during use and the internal fan is quite. 5

[Black] I got my hands on the DJI transmitter and receiver and tested it for a few days. Really ran it's through it's paces and tried to lose signal. It performed very well. However, if I ever wanted to expand my wireless network by renting more receivers, I'd be screwed in my area cause no one has the DJI setup. Teradek's Bolt 6 has been a major upgrade from the previous generations of Teradeks I've used over the years and I really like their build quality. Very solid and the antenna protection is a very nice touch. As long as you aren't trying any funny business with the antenna and keep them propped vertical (unless you change to a few H antenna) it works really well. All in all, I DID obviously go with Teradek but they should be mindful as the DJI setup is great too. But I went with the Teradek because it's proven and expandable with rentals in my area. Picture uploaded is my transmitter on it's maiden voyage on a Sony FX3 build. 5

[5 to 28 VDC] Worth it for a light weight set up. Makes mounting on a gimbal, handheld or steadicam easy and compact. Mounting point can't be rotated 360 degrees making it versatile for what ever camera you are using. 5

[5000' / 1524m] And this is painful to pay for. These just work and they are built like a tank. The battery plate for the transmitter is horrible (Teradek, fix that design please). I had an old Hollyland 600 kit and I sold it. These are fantastic. I will say, if you can get away with using the Hollyland Mars 4k kit you will be happy. I just needed a little more range, but I was always happy when we use the Mars 4k at work. 5
