Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How about stocking the required QD socket or gives some specs. A quick search turned up nothing. The strap is incomplete without it and should come with the socket?

A: The Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling attaches to 3rd party QD sockets as found on the Kirk KLP-260 Universal Lens Plate with QD Socket, BH # KIKLP260V2

Q: 2. Does the strap attach to the camera tripod mount OR the tripod mount on the lens?

A: The BlackRapid Sport X Camera Sling Strap (Multi-Terrain Camo) can be attached to either the lens collar or the Camera's tripod mount. If the lens is a long lens it is best to attach the strap to the lens not the camera.

Q: 3. Will this hold a Sony A7-4 with a 24-105 lens attached?

A: Yes, the Kinesis A634 Reporter's Waist Pack will fit the A7IV with the 24-105mm f/4 G OSS, but it will be snug and take up most of the pack's room.

Q: 4. Is this comparable with kirk products?

A: The BlackRapid Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling is compatible with kirk products that have a QD socket.

Q: 5. How does this harness adjust to a single camera ?

A: This Blackrapid Double Camera Harness works best when holding two camera, but it could hold a single camera that's using a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe, BH # BL363001. https://bhpho.to/3ByrEwY

Q: 6. Does the FastenR is included with the Sling Strap?

A: Yes, the FR-5 is included with the Sport X sling

Q: 7. Is the QR compatible with the QR of the Leofoto plate? (SF-01)

A: There is no QR on the BlackRapid Sport X QD Camera Sling (Multi-Terrain Camo); however, the QD swivel on the this camera sling is compatible with the QD socket on the Leofoto SF-01 Replacement Lens Foot.

Q: 8. what are the internal dimensions?

A: The interior dimensions are about 2 3/4" wide by 2 3/4" high.

Q: 9. How much camera\lens weight can this handle ?

A: Unfortunately, Black Rapid does not publish a specific weight limit for this strap, however they do state that all their straps are rated for professional level cameras.

Q: 10. Can it hold a Nikkon D789 body and a 24-120 lens?

A: It may be a tight fit, and while the camera would work best when disassembled, yes, you should be able to fit the Nikon D780 DSLR Camera Body and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR Lens inside the Kinesis A634 Reporter's Waist Pack.

[Zipper] Camera straps are a pain when shooting from a tripod. This one can be rigged to bbe completely removable in an instant yet it is there to keep the camera from dropping when needed.

[Waist Belt] I have used sling straps for many years both for hiking and travel. The strap keeps the camera safe and convenient. I was pleased to see the addition of a QD attachment. So far it holds the camera solidly, but I still use the safety strap as well. Mine is attached to the newer RRS L plate which now has a QD attachment point. The strap is comfortable to wear and does not slip.

[Empty] I had a Black Rapid strap before and loved it. What I hated about it was their attachment method. Their anchor method was indeed solid but it took too many steps to get off of, and back onto the strap.
NOW with the press of one button you're off the strap. One button press and you're back on the strap. Fast and easy. Really helpful when you are going from strap to tripod and back. I love those QD connectors.

[Zipper] This is comfortable on the shoulder. I like the way it attaches to the camera.

[0.275 lb] I use this harness for carrying a 105mm f/2.8 macro kit on the left strap and an 800mm f/6.3 telephoto kit on the right. Spring season is when the nature photographer is pulled towards shooting close-ups of wildflowers and simultaneously trying to frame migrating birds in a telephoto. This rig allows one the opportunity to go crazy attempting both!

[Empty] Got this harness to consolidate for two camera shooting with DSLRs. Shoulder pads are wide and comfortable, and all the adjustments are very easy to make. Hardware feels legit and able to hold up to some abuse. I've only had it for a few shoots which spanned about 30min to 1hr each, but so far, pretty good and supportive. I wish it had some velcro to slap on some patches though.

[Waist Belt] This is by far the best strap I've ever had for my camera! It is light weight, durable, and sleek. The ergonomically designed shoulder pad is non-slip, sits well onto your left shoulder and doesn't budge much when you're on the move and in action. What's equally satisfying is that whenever the camera is raised or lower, movement along the sling is smooth and does not get in your way - no obstruction at all. The only downside I can think of is, as this sling strap is designed for right-hand use (probably cos shuttle buttons/hand grips are currently used by our right hands), our left-handed photog friends may find it a little inconvenient and have to get use to it if they use this strap.

[Zipper] I bought this strap for action photography and it does the job flawlessly. Whether running up mountains or maneuvering at a concert this thing helps free up my hands and looks good at the same time. I use to leave one camera in the bag and then have to run over to swap, but now I have everything I need whenever I need it. The straps are very comfortable and highly adjustable. The anchors are super durable and put my mind at ease knowing my camera is staying with me at all times.

[Waist Belt] I hesitantly purchased this item after watching a video to show how easy it was to use. So glad I did. This strap works perfectly and saves my arms and back from constantly lugging my heavy camera around during sporting events.
