The 14" 16:9 Widescreen Notebook 4Vu Privacy Filter from Targus attaches to your computer's screen to prevent passers-by from seeing what is on the screen. The privacy filter narrows the monitor's viewing angle, ensuring that it can only be seen from angles within 45° of the center of the screen. The privacy filter also blocks glare, and is RoHS compliant.

[0.25 lb] These are used in a public facility where privacy/security is a concern. They work very well, obscuring the screens from a distance or angle. They fit Dell 19 inch monitors perfectly. The price is good in comparison to others I looked at but the quality is excellent. I have ordered 6 more. 5

[14" (16:9)] I ordered this filter for my monitor to make it easier for my eyes having to stare at the screen all day at work. As a bonus for me is the fact that it IS a privacy filter, so people can't just look over and see what I'm working on. Especially useful when I'm working with our credit card information or other sensitive items. If there is anything wrong with it, it's just that because it is for so large a screen, even when I'm looking at it straight on, the corners get a little blurred from the privacy filter aspect. 5

[14" (16:9)] Just recently put the filter on and it looks awesome! The number of times my folks tried to see what I was doing on my laptop resulted in failure ( unless they were directly behind me of course). Thus, this filter provides all the privacy I need. 5
