This raven black Kondor Blue 5.5" Cine Magic Arm with Double Ball Headsis a support arm for monitors, viewfinders, lights, mics, and other accessories. It features a ball head-mounted mini quick release plate on each end. A: The befree supports 17lbs, so it should be ok.

A: As illustrated by photo #4 from the top of the product images, the cold shoe may be removed, but there is a little 1/4 20" stud on that end, not a threaded hole.

A: iFootage LT4-5.5 Spider Crab Magic Arm (9.5") arm section has a diameter of 13mm. The base mount dimension with the 1/4-20 screw is 29 x38mm.

Q: 4. Does this AC charger support 220/240V mains voltage?

A: Yes, the Kondor Blue AC Charger Cable for Cine V-Mount/Gold Mount Battery Plate (B&H# KOACVM) may be used with 100-240VAC 50-60Hz.

Q: 5. Would this work with the Anamorphot 1.33x-40 (the original, not the new compact version)? I know this is made for the Anamorphot cine lenses, but the 1.33-40 adapter has very similar dimensions for the front of the lens.

A: Not that we are aware of. This is designed specifically for Anamorphot-CINE prime lenses, not their adapter products.

Q: 6. Is it compatible to the smallrig ballhead? Same diameter?

A: The Kondor Blue Kondor Blue Mini Quick Release to Ball Head for Magic Arms is not interchangeable with Smallrig parts.

Q: 7. Can lever clamps from Really Right Stuff be used with this head?

A: Yes, the Novoflex Magic Ball 50 with Socket Head accepts the Really Right Stuff B2-LR-II Lever-Release Clamp (60mm). You will need this bushing adapter to connect one to the other though. https://bit.ly/487EyPx

Q: 8. Its not clear to me from the photos and discription can you have threads on both ends. I would not use a hot shoe to mount anything. 3/8 on one end to 1/4 20 on the other is perfect?

A: The iFootage LT2-3.5 Spider Crab Magic Arm (5.5") provides a 1/4"-20 male screw on one end and a 1/4"-20 female thread under the male shoe on the other end.

Q: 9. Are the locating points retractables? I would like to use it with my camera and I don't have any locating points under my plate.

A: The locking pins on the Tilta Pro Articulating Arm with Dual Ball Heads (1/4"-20 Screws) push into the item attached when there are no locating pin receivers.

Q: 10. Would this work with the SLR Magic rangefinder?

A: We're afraid not. This hood is specifically for SLR Magic's Anamorphot-CINE Lens, such as B&H # SLRAC50133PL.

[0.56 lb] The build quality is great like other Kondor Blue products. There are quite a lot of knock offs such as Smallrig and they dont provide double 3/8/-16 with arri pins and dont sell them separately so this is the only magic arm you can get. Yeah, it's expensive but you get what you pay for and clients care about it. 5

[Quick Release ] These arms are well made, versatile, and an excellent value. I bought a more expensive arm at the same time I bought a Kondor. The Kondor was so much better, I took back the expensive one, and bought two more Kondors. 5

[2] Kondor Blue are the only mounts I use. These are sturdy and hold in place during rugged field production conditions. Nothing drives me more crazy than mounting attachments that move during a shoot and Kondor Blue takes that out of the equation. I typically use the Nato clamps for extra grip but some attachments require the 1/4 screw. 5
