[Bare Ends] These adapters are rock solid. They've got some weight to them and can take a beating. We use them for live gigs and people walk all over them. The connections are still tight even after a countless number of uses. This is great, because sometimes I just leave it attached to an extension cord. I don't have to worry about it falling off or coming loose - it's on there. 5

[0.175 lb] I've been putting together audio/guitar cables for about 40 years. Plug design as come a long way since I started. Finally, Canare has perfected the 1/4 plug. This plug is engineered to last. The metal used is strong, sturdy. The strain relief design is outstanding. The plug is easy to solder/assemble as long as you strip the lead and ground wires to the proper lengths. I've tried them all...this is absolutely the best plug on the market!!! 5

[Bare Ends] I use this product as relay's for extension cords, works great for when objects are spaced far apart and outlets are limited. The only complaint I have is that the male end of the tap has a slight curve to it, so it doesn't sit flush when extension cords are plugged into it (exposing part a bit of the plug). 5
