[HDMI/SDI] Got to work on a production that used one of these units and it was great. No issues even on long 12hr shoot days, and rock solid connection between the transmitter and receiver. Would work with this product again in a heartbeat on everything from challenging run-and-gun shoots to large-scale dilm productions.

[40 MHz] From the form factor, to the build quality, to the ease of use, to the unbelievable range, I could go on and on. The whole system integrates so nicely on the camera body you'll forget it's even a separate part of your rig. Never ran into frequency issues or range issues and we push this thing to the max every time. You won't find a better TX on the market today

[Yes, ] This makes setting up a wireless transmission so seamless and clean. Love using it with our DSMC 2 RED, fits right in. Range is amazing and consistent. Would highly recommend over any Teradek product.

[5.1 to 5.9 GHz] Upgraded to this system from the atom 600kv that is specifically designed for the red Komodo. We loved the original system but got to the point where we needed the upgrade into the pro systems. Vaxis has really challenged the market in a way that hasn't yet been done and I've been on board since that first system.

We're no slouches in really beating on products and expecting exceptional performance. This product leaves everything else out there in the dust. Pair it with a frequency scanner and you immediately become a god of wireless transmission.

Couldn't recommend this product more for anyone/everyone looking for a wireless video transmission system on a pro level.

[HDMI/SDI] I ordered this kit when I (finally) was able to secure a Komodo body. I'm a massive fan of all things integration and this was and still is I believe the only filling transmitting integrated pass through system for this body. Start up times are lightning fast, TX to RX connection is nearly immediate and the the SDI connection is rock solid.

I noticed the other reviews about overheating issues and that's not something I've ever come across. We out our gear through some grueling shoots in the summer months and I almost always run this package with a shark fin plate for hot swaps on batteries and the package will run for 10 hours at a time without ever being shut down on some shoots. I've never once had an issue with the overheating.

I couldn't recommend this more from a budget and form factor perspective!

[Yes] Great product for crews looking to keep camera builds neat and less cluttered. Having the vmount passthrough helped to keep the camera build compact while extremely functional. Used this setup for about a year and haven't had any issues with it during that time. And the wireless receiver works great for a directors monitor. Would recommend it

[10 x 7.3 x 3.5"] I've been using Vaxis products since their Storm 500 series. Consistent, reliable, and long range signal are the reasons why I've stuck around. There are a bunch of Red Forum members who swear by this brand, our team being one of them.

As for the 3000DV, what can I say, I love that Vaxis integrated a transmitter into a v-mount plate, making rig builds so much cleaner. It's definitely got the range you need, signal penetrates through crowded sports arenas, as well as your standard corporate buildings. When paired with the Cine8, you've got a solid combo. My only wish is that it mounted to our new V-Raptor! But hoping that Red will come out w/ an official adapter to allow us to use other V-Mount batteries.
