The monolight also includes a built-in Bowens S-mount for utilizing the monolight without the projector lens. This versatility allows you to use the light with widely available S-mount light modifiers. The light offers a color temperature range of 2800 to 6500K and 0 to 100% dimming. [2800 to 6500K] I purchased this FS-200B along with the FS-150B monolight after getting the FS-300B earlier. Together, these have become my go-to LED bi-color lights for use in the studio and on location. I own other brands but the Nanlite FS B's are my favorites. Not least because the power supply is incorporated in the head so there is no need to wrangle with a separate unit for each light. Also, unlike other similar lights I have I appreciate the simplicity and accessibility of the controls for brightness and color temp. which make the light easy to use for anyone who might be assisting you on a shoot. Coupled with modifiers like soft boxes, snoots or the Nanlite fresnel (itself an awesome item) these lights have proven themselves to be most useful. A couple of cons: The fan noise on my FS-200B is more noticeable than the 150 or the 300. Not loud enough to lose a rating star, though. My biggest complaint is that I find the manufacturer-provided power cords are unusably stiff -- such that they don't lay flat on the floor. In my experience this presents enough of a hazard that I replaced the cords with more flexible ones. All in all I can highly recommend these lights. 5

[2800 to 6500K] I needed something for scared dogs. Some just won't tolerate the flashes. This is brighter than what another pet photographer told me she used... I haven't tried to freeze action with it, but it definitely helps keep my shutter speed up. On top of that, I can use it to create training videos where I need to move around. I'm very happy with it. 5

[CRI 95] Impressive to say the least! Love that it have the standard bowens mount on it for adapting to my ad400pro. Using it with the strobe keeps the heat down, just turn on constant light for a sec for focus. package said it comes with 12 gobo, but mine had 22! For the price and quality, you can beat this! 5

[CRI 95] This light it well built a well and is strong . Some people say the fan is loud but I don’t think it is a problem. I know audio guys will require perfect audio but it is not a problem. I have had no issues. I returned my equivalent GVM light because this one was a better price and more reliable. 5

[LCD] Very good given its value. I mainly use it with an 85cm softbox lantern and its power is more than enough. Good construction in general. Many users say that it does not have an anchor to attach an umbrella, but it does have it facing forward on the right side of the grip. 5
