Monitor a room or hallway with the white Axis P3268-LV 8MP Indoor Dome Camera Night Visionfrom Axis Communications. This unit uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor to capture 3840 x 2160 resolution video at 30 fps. IR LEDs provide up to 130' of night vision. The camera's 4.3-8.6mm varifocal lens delivers a 100 to 53° horizontal field of view. Two-way audio is possible via an audio input and edge-to-edge technology. Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. A memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards (available separately).

This dome camera complies with ONVIF profiles G, M, S, and T, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IK10-rated enclosure for protection from vandalism.

[1] After 7 years Axis finally came out with an upgrade to the M1065. Improvements in all functions of the camera. The image is brighter and sharper even though the maximum resolution is still 1920x1080. With upgraded CPU and memory the camera can run the latest firmware updates with all the added features. Use cameras with Axis Companion security software. Because of the software integration it is worth the extra expense. The default camera has no WiFi or power supply, powered by POE ($300). The wireless/POE kit (Axis TM1901) is another $70. The image shows the camera mounted on an Axis mount that is an additional cost. Installed 4 of these cameras with no issues wired or wireless. 5

[NAS] It’s hikvision great camera for not a lot of money compared to axis. The fish eye lense is great and can see everything. Only down fall is that it’s stuck in the fish eye aspect, zooming in is done through software and the NVR software that I’m using blue iris doesn’t support that. 5
