  • Lightweight (at 3.9 oz including batteries), the XSW IEM EK easily clips on your clothing or belt, and is easy to conceal and comfortable for the talent to wear.
  • A standard 3.5mm jack lets you plug in the included IE 4 earphones or optional earphones of your choice. The top LED shows battery and link status at a glance, while the front LCD panel allows you to individually fine-tune your personal mix using Balance and Focus modes and the EQ and Limiter.
  • The receiver operates up to 6 hours on 2 AA batteries (included).

  • With the XSW IEM EK bodypack receiver, a musician can design his or her individual mix with Mono, Stereo, and Focus Mode settings. Simple controls enable her or him to dial in the volume and panning for both left and right signals and get the balance that works best—for example the singer can turn up the vocal feed to hear herself better, while the band may prefer more of the instrumental mix to help ensure they stay in the pocket.
  • Alternatively, performers can engage the Focus mode, which mixes both left and right signals and allows you to balance of what you want to hear in the foreground and push the other instruments to the background.
  • Advanced features include an EQ that provides a 10 dB boost at 13 kHz with high shelf for more air and extra brightness. Protect your ears with the Limiter that caps the output volume at the receiver by -10 dB.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Why would this NOT work with a EW100 G3 transmitter in the same frequency range?

A: The Sennheiser EW100 series wireless components use a different/separate wireless communication protocol that prevents them from properly communicating with products from the IEM series such as the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver with IE 4 Earphones (A: 516 to 558 MHz), even when tuned to the same frequency.

Q: 2. Are these receivers backwards compatible with the EW 300 IEM G3 transmitters?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver with IE 4 Earphones is backwards compatible with IEM G3 components operating on the same frequency range.

Q: 3. Does each transmitter (bodypack SESK500G4AW or plug on SESKP500G4AW) need it's own receiver or can the receiver take multiple input signals cleanly to one output?

A: The Sennheiser EK 100 G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver allows a single transmitter connection at any time. Each Sennheiser transmitter requires its own dedicated receiver.

Q: 4. Can you use multiple receivers with just the one transmitter?

A: Yes, the transmitter in the Sennheiser XSW IEM SET Stereo In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System can send the same signal to multiple Sennheiser XSW IEM EK Stereo Bodypack Wireless Receivers that are tuned to the same frequency/channel.

Q: 5. Will this work with a G3 112 transmitter? For IEM and camera hop situations?

A: This item is not compatible with the G3 series. The Sennheiser EK 2000-IEM is a wireless bodypack receiver for in-ear monitoring compatible with 2000 Series wireless transmitters.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with iphone 6?

A: Yes! It is!

Q: 7. Would this work with my Sennheiser SK2000XP (AW Band) Transmitter?

A: No, the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver with IE 4 Earphones (A: 516 to 558 MHz) is not compatible with the SK2000XP.

Q: 8. Are these compatible with the EW100 G4 transmitters?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver can be used with the Sennheiser SK 100 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter as long as the components are both tuned to the same frequency, however the audio going to the receiver will be mono, not stereo.

Q: 9. Will this work to replace a lost Sennheiser EK 300 IEM G3 Wireless Bodypack Receiver. We would be using 1 G3 Transmitter with 1 G3 Receiver FOCUSED R and now 1 G4 Receiver FOCUSED L . Will this work?

A: Unfortunately it will not work. The EK is an In Ear Monitor system. The G3 and G4 are wireless mic systems.

Q: 10. Can this receive a mono signal from a g2 transmitter?

A: Yes it will work with a G2 transmitter in the same frequency band.

[25 kHz] No frills ear buds offering full sound, a very soft ear bud for comfort, and durable back case. The wire casing is neither slippery nor sticky, it has the right amount of grip texture.

[IR] I bought this to use with my G4 wireless mics for a director or script super to monitor. I read the instructions about how to setup and it seems fine. Need some more time with it to really see how it does overall.

[960] The SENNHEISER IE 4 earphones give great Bass. The sound is clear and crisp.I bought these buds for my COWON D2.I also tried CX 300 but specially Bass is better than CX 300.Also Mids and Treble. For this price you can buy another brand isolation earbuds they may be more successful on isolating but i can say that sound that Sennheiser IE 4 give is better than the phones in this price range. It has microdrive not diaphragm so this is an advantage. One con is sound isolating but it is more important that an earphone gives rich sound. Problems Encountered: No problems... Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Sennheiser MX 400,CX 300,HD 202,Shure e2c Items I Recommend: COWON D2

[24 MHz] Used each day primarily for listening to audio books and some music. These are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever had. I fall asleep with them on and no ear discomfort. The sound quality is excellent for the spoken word and certainly good for music.

[Plastic] I had the Westone UM3X in-ears and I have to say that my new IE4's blow out of the water. I use them on tour with my band and have to say that nothing comes close to these in-ears.

[24 MHz] I use these on set with a compatible G4 transmitter (you need to turn off pilot tone) for client headphone monitoring. Sounds much better than the popular 216mhz VHF systems.

[45 Hz to 15 kHz] I tried all the In-Ear headphones from the BandH store and these were the winners. These $60 dollar headphones are better than $500 or $1000 headphones. I had to return several expensive headphones to finally keep these Sennheiser IE 4. The best sound my ears have ever heard.
