The Gold-Mount Plus SmallHD Vision 17 HDR Monitor Gold Mount Accessory Packfrom SmallHD Vision 17 HDR Monitor Gold Mount Accessory Packis designed to power your SmallHD 4K monitor using one or two 14 or 26V batteries. This battery plate features a direct, cable-free plug-in design and easy mounting on the monitor's Arca-Swiss SmartRail.

A: The Steadicam M2 Top stage uses 3-pin LEMO connectors for accessory power and the SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bright Touchscreen Monitor uses 2-pin LEMO for power input, so the Steadicam M2 cannot be used to power the monitor.

A: The SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bright Touchscreen Monitor does support signal cross-conversion, meaning the video signal can be input via one connection type (HDMI or SDI) and output via the other.

Q: 6. I already have cine7 with Arri license, if I will buy this, should I get one more license? thanks!

A: Yes, once any camera control is registered in your SmallHD monitor, it can not be removed or transferred to a different monitor, you would need to purchase the license for the SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bright so it would also have ARRI control.

[1.4 lb] I think this is a must have if using the 703 as a director or AC monitor. The 703 by default does not come with a built in plate, so I was using a p-tap cable for power. This gold mount plate makes the kit way more compact and usable. Combined with a Gold/V-mount Teradek unit, makes for a compact, easy to put together kit. 5

[1.4 lb] High accurate, phenomenal monitor. We have both the Vision 17 and Vision 24 and they complement each other well, with the 24 being the display with true 10-bit color versus 8+2 on the Vision 17, although honestly I can't see the difference in real world use. There really isn't much competition for 4K HDR reference-grade monitors that can be battery powered and are suitable for both color-critical post production and production on set or in the field. These monitors are it! Like all SmallHD monitors they are easy to use and loaded with just about every tool you could want. IMPORTANT NOTE: SmallHD very unhelpfully changed the specs at the 11th hour after release and the Vision 24 can only be powered by 26v batteries (and also A/C). It cannot be powered by 14v batteries as the dual battery plate (not included) description implies. If you are using dual voltage CoreSWX Helix batteries, you will need an adaptor plate to activate the 26v mode. 5

[1.4 lb] If you need a focus pulling monitor, this is it. I have used it on location and in studio and it's great for both. Surprisingly light for its size, and super sharp especially with a couple points of focus peaking. Adding on accessories, case, etc racks up the price but it is well worth it. Much easier to see than a 703, especially when working with large format, WFO. All the pros use this and laud it - Greg Irwin said it was instrumental in keeping Joker sharp. That's the review that matters! 5

[1.4 lb] No competition here. This is by far the most iconic on set monitor. Crisp , well built , lots of connectors. One huge flaw: Menu UI is a complete mess. I can't believe engineers were paid to come up with a menu like this . Otherwise a nice piece of equipment. 5

[1.4 lb] This is the best 24 monitor I've ever used! The screen is color accurate, sharp, bright enough for outdoor use, and calibrated perfectly out of the box. The menu system is easy to use and loaded with helpful features for every use case on set. My team is extremely pleased to see my wireless camera feed from the Teradek Bolt system in incredible 4K resolution with zero delay. With the SmallHD V-mount battery plate (separate accessory), I no longer have to worry about cables. I can power the monitor for several hours with 2 V-mount batteries- what a relief! The VESA mount on the back makes it possible to mount this monitor to any stand. The included screen protector is a huge bonus! Also, the upcoming firmware updates will ensure this monitor stays at the top of its game for many years to come. I highly recommend this monitor! 5
