The Vanguard QS-74 Quick Shoe for VEO PH-36S & PH-38S Pan Headsfrom Vanguard QS-74 Quick Shoe for VEO PH-36S & PH-38S Pan Headsis an Arca-type quick shoe that has a standard 1/4"-20 camera screw with a D-ring for secure mounting without tools. Its square design allows it to be quickly rotated 90° and repositioned in a compatible Arca-type clamp. It features four rubberized traction pads to resist camera movement, and to prevent marring the surface finish of the camera body.

[0.145 lb] This American Made tripod is well engineered, absolutely solid and easy to handle for those dead-on still shots and astrophotography lovers. I used this tripod on a snow-covered slope requiring an odd and uneven tripod leg configuration - it worked great. I highly recommend this tripod and the accompanying panhead which easily handles heavy full-frame cameras and lenses. 5

[Arca-Type] Works as expected. My main reason for loving this plate is the screw has a D ring attached which allows me to tighten it to my camera or bracket by hand. The previous version did not have a D ring and I had to fumble around for a stubby screwdriver I kept in my bag to tighten it. This version 2 plate is much superior in my opinion. 5
