The Movo GH700-II Aluminum Gimbal Head with Arca Platesfrom Movo GH700-II Aluminum Gimbal Head with Arca Platesallows a camera and lens combination weight up to 30 pounds to tilt, swing, and rotate effortlessly to optimize flexibility and the ability to respond to fast-moving subject. The combined camera and lens are balanced on the swing arm, which has a numbered scale, with the height-adjustable camera platform for optimal positioning. The platform features an Arca-type quick release receiver clamp with locking knob. This gimbal head set includes both a standard size Arca-type quick release plate for basic applications and a long Arca-type quick release plate for achieving balance when using long telephoto lenses. The quick release clamp incorporates safety screw cutouts to prevent quick release plates with safety screws from accidentally releasing. Sliding a mounted lens back-and-forth allows balancing the lens on the head, enabling fluid and seamless swinging motion. The panoramic base also offers a full 360° rotation, making it easy for sports, wildlife, and bird photographers to track action.

[Gimbal Head] I was a little nervous about adding a Gimbal head to my kit because of concerns about weight and how difficult it may be to use. But since I like to photograph birds in flight, I realize it is a piece of equipment I must have. I have found the Benro GH2 Aluminum Gimbal Head to be very well made, high quality materials, light in weight, with easy operation of the Arca Swiss plate and adjustment knobs. I have been extremely pleased with it and believe it will make a big difference in my photography. 5

[Arca-Type] I bought the GH2 to replace another gimbal that had a load capacity of 26 pounds. The load capacity of the Benro GH2 is 50 pounds. It is well built. The vertical and horizontal adjustments are about a quarter turn from full movement to lockdown. I immediately did some shooting with a large 500mm lens and this product was decidedly better at holding the equipment in place with minimal vibration. Good product at a fair price 5

[360°] I was looking for a gimbal head but pausing at the cost of some of the heads. When the price came down on this I decided to take a chance. I am a serious hobby photographer and I think this will serve me well for a long time. Action in both directions is very smooth. 5

[1/4"-20 Male] Solid, sturdy, and smooth. Reasonably priced for what it is. It's heavy, but when you're shooting on heavy, stout tripod legs with a long and heavy lens, you're not expecting to run and gun. A suggestion: look for a YouTube video by Steve Perry called How to Balance a Gimbal Head. It gives good, clear advice on setting up the gimbal head on a tripod with your camera and lens on it for optimal performance. 5

[Yes] I use this gimbal for most of my wildlife photography, and am very pleased with the performance so far. Panning is extremely smooth and the tilt is also smooth,although right out of the box the tilt was very stiff ; a couple of drops of teflon lube solved that problem. No problems or complaints at this point. 5
