The compact, lightweight, and portable Yongnuo YNLUX100 Handheld Daylight LED Light Kitfrom Yongnuo YNLUX100 Handheld Daylight LED Light Kitis assembled around a fixture with a 5600K COB LED lamp bead plus a high CRI rating of 95. This bright 100W LED light comes with a 55° reflector and delivers an output of 11,326 lux at 3.3'. It features 9 built-in special effects modes for creative lighting simulations and a sliding knob for quick brightness adjustments.

The YNLUX100 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included power supply, but it can also run on two separately available NP-F batteries when AC power is unavailable. A hand grip with locking battery slots allows for comfortable handheld shooting. The light comes with a Bowens accessory mount, so is compatible with a wide variety of optional soft light modifiers. A portable case is also included for convenient storage and transportation.

A: As per the manufacturer, using only two batteries will only power half of the LEDS, while four batteries will power all the LEDS. It cannot be used with Gold Mount batteries from Watson or Anton Bauer.

[CRI 95] I use the lights ( i went back next day and bought a second one) to illuminate my paintings at wedding events. I love the dial to set the right amount of light on the canvas as I paint. I plan to use these lights as a nocturnal lighting system outdoors as well. 5

[1x Reflector] I mainly bought it for the RGB feature. The color wheel on the app works well for picking colors. The size and shape help to fit in tight spots. BUY A BATTERY, it does not come with one. 5

[Fan] The good: -Bang for your buck -Lots of light output for this price point -Affordable -Very lightweight, love this about Yongnuo panels and I have a Yongnuo YN600 too. Panels from other manufacturers I've used (Dracast, Impact) don't pack down as small. The bad: -Noticeable noise, probably my biggest complaint about these but I sort of expected this for a sub-$200 light -Haven't tested personally but the fact that you have to have 4(!) NPF's all hooked up to power this thing from battery -The fact that it doesn't come included with wall power is crazy -Probably color accuracy, but now I have a mix of affordable LED's from like 4 different brands and they're all pretty close in practical use on location, dealing with natural light spill too so a tiny bit of shift is fine. In a studio setting for primary use this probably isn't the right light. -The included lightstand mount is garbage and doesn't tilt. I purchased two of these to light a white backdrop and it worked well. They're a little spotty, but I used the included diffusion, and they had enough kick that I could take the background to full white for a waist up shot. Would need more power or more lights for a head to toe on white. 5

[Bowens S] This is the best video light I seen so far. It's actually consumes 98 watts of power. You'll need to buy the power cable separately. Solid build and the fan is very quiet which help keep the leds cool. High power led do make some heat when over 12 volts of power. 5

[CRI 95] I absolutely love it! I wish the white light was variable similar to their newer model (I own both), but it's still nice to have a battery-powered version as an alternative when i'm on the go. It's easy to control, outputs plenty of light, looks great on film, it's really just an amazing lighting solution! 5

[Daylight] This is a great light with lots of power. I only shoot stills, and use this as my key light in certain situations where I want continuous light. The on/off switch is now recessed into the side of the body, so you can pack away the light without worrying if it will accidentally turn on during transport. A lot brighter than version 1! I love the ability to use the detachable remote control. CONS: only one so far - difficult to read the LCD screen on the remote unless your are in full light. Version one is backlit, and easily read in low light. 5
