[512 GB] Initially I had purchased this card for my Z6ii and my Z7ii about a year ago. The performance in those cameras was underwhelming for the amount this card cost, so I ended up returning it for a different card. I'm guessing that more than likely it was a firmware compatibility issue of some sort between those cameras and the card. Since then, Sabrent has contacted me to give the card another try. I have since upgraded cameras and tried the new one in my Nikon Z8, which should be an even tougher test for this card. I'll say, this thing is considerably faster in the Z8 than the other two. I calculated an average of about 800MB/s write speed onto the card in-camera with a mix of Full size/quality RAW and JPG photos. It handles 8k60p video without any issues. It definitely gives my Lexar Diamond 512gb card a run for its money. The only thing that the Lexar does better, is under the same load the Lexar can sustain it almost indefinitely (i let it go for about 2 minutes before stopping cause it hadn't hit a buffer wall yet), where as the Sabrent hits a wall and the buffer has to clear after around 15-20 seconds of 20fps full size images. For most people, this probably wont be an issue, and it seems to clear the buffer very quickly when it isn't being written to at the same time. Overall, with this card being cheaper and twice the capacity of the Lexar makes it definitely a good bang for the buck.

[512 GB] I will preface this review in saying that I have used Sabrent drives in computers for a number of years now, and fortunately I have had no issues with any of them.

When I first saw these Sabrent CFexpress cards, I initially passed them up, because the non-pro ones don't have the sustained write speeds of the higher end cards. However when these pro versions were released I became very curious. I couldn't find many real world reviews, and honestly the wording of up to, potentially 1300 MB/s was a bit concerning. Of the reviews I did find I wasn't sure if they tested the sustained write metric or not, and to me that is the most important metric to test in a large capacity card like this. I ended up taking the chance and getting this card, and I'm glad that I did.

This easily keeps within the sustained minimum write speeds, and has not given me any issues with 8k30 or 4k120 fps on the Nikon Z8. Didn't try 8k60, but from what I've seen just by writing a terabyte of files to the card all at once in Windows as a test, that shouldn't be an issue. It was between 1500 and 1300 the entire time.

Other than that, what else is there to say? It is a fast CFexpress card that's much cheaper than some other options, that's from a reliable SSD company. It's overkill for capturing stills on my Z8. I'm very glad Sabrent entered the pro camera market space, and I hope the competition brings some of the crazy prices down among the high-end cards. I highly recommend this card.

[512 GB] I ordered this card because it came with the card reader. But the card has been great. I just use the for photos. I’m not really into the video side of things. But it 1TB and that’s a lot of images. So far it has worked with my Z8 great, fits grad and no problems. I probably pick two more of them.

[1] It’s almost as fast as my other chips for sustained writes, is as fast for reads, half the price, twice the size. Is great.

[PCI-Express 3.0] Bought based on extensive reviews and even though it's not mentioned by Blackmagic Design specifically for the Cinema Camera 6K full frame, initial tests seem worthy of this camera.

[0.06 lb] On my r5, you can easily shoot 8k raw with no issues. Ive loaded up these cards, and formatted them plenty of times. never encountered any issues like failure / corruption. They work, they're reliable, they're affordable, and they're tough (ive dropped them plenty of times).

[0.06 lb] I needed a larger memory card for camera especially one that would handle the full censor of the camera and so far I have loved this card. This brand is also better priced and I read a lot of reviews and everyone really liked this brand. I got the 1TB because it was on sale. I did have to do a software update for Nikon camera but B&H sent me the link and it was super easy to do. I love it so far
