[0.085 lb] This filter gives a beautiful rounded haze and foggy atmosphere to your photos. I've found it is most effective in brighter conditions as the softening will make sharp images feely a bit blurred At the 77mm size, I'm able to use on multiple lenses and stack with other filters as well to make for some unique stylistic shots. It may not be an everyday application, but it comes through wonderfully for it's desired intention. 5

[0.085 lb] I used this filter to convert an old Canon Rebel to an infrared only camera. I disassembled my Rebel, remove the glass over the Rebel's sensor and replaced it with a segment of this filer. Thus blocking all but IR light to the sensor. The viewfinder looks the same as before, but the sensor only sees IR light. Removing the glass element from the lens ring was straight forward. The retaining ring was doing a fine job of holding the element in place for normal use, but I was able to remove the glass element without damage. I was able to use a standard glass cutter on the filter to cut the size needed for the Rebel's sensor. The glass element is solid and sturdy and allowed me to make cuts where needed. The glass took the punishment of tapping to break at the score without damage to the rest of the glass. No flaws found. The infrared is a new experiment for me. I am happy in the way this filter work in this respect. I found the filter solid and would not hesitate to use it on the front of a lens if that is your purpose. 5

[Glass] This is a fun way to add some colorful creative effects to your instant photography. The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter. 5

[0.085 lb] I've been using the Hoya R72 filter for years and have always been happy with the results. It renders wonderful infrared images for both false color and B&W, capable of mimicking 850nm images if shot and edited correctly 5

[Glass] This is my first introduction to infra-red photography. Hoya filters are always a quality product. I'm still learning how to use this filter most effectively. Fun! B&H is always a class act!! 5
