[Sony E] I've had this lens for about 6 months. When using on my A7RV, I find the AF to be quick and consistently accurate without issues others have reported. I did update firmware when I received the lens. I own 2 others Rokinon's along with Sony and Tamron lenses and found this lens as good as all my other lenses

[f/1.4] Basically 90% of the Sony 35mm 1.4 for less than half the price. Sony has slightly better contrast wide open and much better bokeh all around. The bokeh on this lens is good, but compared to the Sony its a bit rough on a busy background. Sony 1.4 has some of the best bokeh ever for a 35mm lens, so its not too surprising that this lens cant keep up. Neither can Sigma.

[Autofocus] Tack sharp even wide open. Good contrast. Paired with magic lantern and live view focus peaking, it's super easy to use. The bokeh is top notch. Blows the canon 1.4 and nifty out of the water. Heavy solid build quality.

[35mm] The Rokinon AF 35mm f1.8 FE lens for Sony E is a remarkable addition to my photography gear. Its wide aperture of f/1.8 delivers stunning low-light performance and beautiful bokeh, making it perfect for portraits and low-light situations. The autofocus is fast and accurate, ensuring crisp shots every time. The build quality is solid, and its compact size makes it highly portable. [f/16] After reading numerous reviews on this lens, I went ahead and purchased this lens and I have NO regrets, the lens is tack sharp. One flaw is that in video mode the lens does make a ticking sound, the sound is a little noticeable than the sigma 18-35 F1.8 on the MC-11 on the Sony mirrorless, other than that I’m super glad I made this purchase.

[67 mm (Front)] Loving this so far! Using with my A7riii and it is super sharp, fast focus. Still playing with it after 1 full day of shooting but I am so in love so far. I’ll update if any issues occur.

[0.18x] I am using this lens for professional video work and I can't say enough great things about this product. The build is incredible (for some, may seem heavy) but it is truly durable. The specs behind this lens are just what I needed to get a great prime lens at an affordable price. The images this lens produces are stunning, from the aperture range, to the fast auto focus, and for video pros (the de-clicked aperture control ring is a must). This brand has managed to produce incredible lenses at a cost that indie filmmakers or professional photographers can afford without sacrificing quality/output. Buy it and you won't regret it.

[f/16] This older version of the lens is definitely showing it's age in the electronics area. But I gave 5 stars because it was on sale, and for the $ it's a beautiful lens that is very fast. The autofocus is probably the main issue. Compared to more modern designs, it's very noisy, and not super fast. So sports would be out. I do mostly live concert shooting, and some interview work, and even with live mics, it doesn't seem loud enough to cause me audio issues. I use all external mics, so if you use the camera mic it would probably cause some issues. The look, clarity and sharpness are all amazing. (For video at least - I cant comment on how pixel peeping photographers would find it.)
