A: The Feisol VH-40 horizontal adapter uses the universal standard 3/8"-16 thread and can be used on virtually any tripod. That being said, due to its wider base diameter, it's recommend you pair the VH-40 with a tripod that has a larger mounting base (like a Feisol Classic, Gitzo systematic, etc.)

A: The foremost picture in the set shows the item in its most compact form for travel. For mounting to the tripod, the foam grip/counterweight is unscrewed from the mounting base. The head should be removed from your tripod first before this is attached securely to your tripod legs on its mounting platform. Q: 4. can this arm be mounted on a Manfrotto tripod?

A: Yes it can! Screws right on and the quality and stability is excellent. Using it in a recipe development shoot as I write! Depending on the size and weight of your DLSR and lens, you may need a sandbag for a counterweight. A large bag of rice does nicely too!

Q: 5. Can we use this with Gitzo 5 series tripod?

A: Yes it attaches to a 3/8 screw.

A: Yes Canon R5c is compatible with Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control.

A: the only plastic parts are some compression rings inside the column mount - all other components of the adapter are made of CNC-machined Aluminum.

A: Yes it will work quite well. the native threads in the base are 3/8. The mounting platform for your head is 3/8 or 1/4 20.

Q: 9. Do you need to change the fuse to use it with 220v ?

A: Yes, the PreSonus AIR10 2-Way Active Sound-Reinforcement Loudspeakers (Single) will need a different fuse to operate at 220V. The fuse included fuse for operation at 100 to 120V is a T5AL 250V, while the fuse required for operation at 220 to 240V is a T2.5AL 250V.

Q: 10. Can this arm support a Toyo 4x5 View camera?

A: Even though the load capacity says 11lbs, I wouldn't risk it. you are much better off with a Salon Stand (pricey) or C stand with a boom arm.

[Steel] Bought this and its matching tx. They seem pretty good. You can select different definitions, FHD, HD, SD, and then can assign them to the 3 types, and allocate bit rates for each. Eg you can select HD, send that to SD and a bit rate of 800 and FHD to HD and a bit rate of 2000 etc. It then selects the resolution type, eg 720P. The only limitation I find a bit strange is that the full range of resolutions, are not available all the time. They vary what is available depending on the Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz of the incoming HDMI. I am using 60Hz, and this does not have 1080i, but if I was using 50Hz, then 1080i would be included. 60Hz has 480i, 480P, 720P, 1080P. 50Hz has 576i, 576P, 720P, 1080P, 1080i. The other strange thing I notice is that if I select a bit rate of 800Kbps, and then monitor the link at the IP level, it seems to be using about 3.5Mbps. However, for quality and ease of use, these seem to be great devices. 5

[Hardware] I previously purchased the Hercules DJ Monitor 42 speakers and was quite impressed by their sound and quality. I wanted a little more power even though they are both 80 watts but the Hercules Monitor 5 has a separate amp in each speaker while the Monitor 42's have one amp supplying both speakers. They sound great, the bass rolls, the mids are excellent and the high's are clear. Much recommended for studios and what I use it for is my laptop to hear music and games. 5
