[1x DB25 ] Many equipment manufacturers have embraced the Tascam-pinout of DB25 audio cables. This Hosa cable is perfect for anything that uses the Tascam DA-88 style connector. You just can't buy the XLR connectors, wire and DB25 for the cost of this cable, not to mention the headache of soldering those DB-25 pins. 5

[5.64 lb] I am always wanting to eliminate any link in my audio chain that will compromise any loss of signal.Saying that, If you were to see my studio, you would understand.Its still a home studio though, and to spend a large amount of money on a cable snake thats 5' long, I had to take time and think about it.After reading the spec on the cable and trying to look closely at the picture supplied, I decided, why not.I can see where the money has gone.No effort has been spared to construct this cable, its very robust, completely shielded and apart from dragging it behind a car for 40 miles, its definitely a once in a lifetime purchase.all cable ends both braided and then shrunk wrap coatings are as good as any top shelf cable I have, and if the specs are anything to go by, I'm yet to see any other cable of this type on the market that will match it.As with any signal path you still have to be mindful of what cables are running next to what, so I still don't run audio less than 150mm parallel to power and always cross at 90 degrees. My recording equipment gets moved around alot, so to have something that can handled regularly and not show signs of ware and tear is a big one. Although I have only had it for a short time, I reckon this cable will last as long as any I have.Well done to the crew at Mogami, well made.If you can afford it, you will only buy it once, thats worth considering. 5

[Mogami] Bought this way back in 2013 for use with my college computer program which involved a lot of network device configuration (primarily with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls). Never had an issue with this adapter functioning as intended. It worked reliably and it's really durable considering I've had it knotted in a ball, and stored in a tight coil but it still works. It's almost 4 years later and I have no concerns about this thing lasting me a decade or above. Never did use the parallel portion. If there's any complaint I have, it's that it feels a little cheap since it's just plastic, and it looks very plain with just the grey. Making it like a black matte plastic like the many video adapters, and adding the company logo would be a nice change. 5

[1x DB25 ] For those few times left you need a serial cable, and you don't have a computer built after 1995 (well, an old one, anyway), there's this guy/gal/cable. It works, the drivers installed flawlessly, the cable did its job, and I was able to lie to terminal software and tell it that a USB port was a serial port. YAY! 5
