Featuring a high-performance InfiRay Vox detector, the E3 Max V2.0 allows you to get highly detailed thermal images that make it easy to search for targets in darkness.

When it is necessary to temporarily stop observation, you can apply the monocular's standby function. It provides the necessary level of camouflage between observation sessions (no light is seen from the eyepiece of the device).

Picture-in-Picture improves accuracy by providing a 2x magnified image of the reticle area at the top of the display. It helps to zoom in on a target while retaining the rest of the field of view visible.

The E3 Max V2.0 provides more than 5 color palettes for true colorized temperature mapping, including white hot, black hot, red hot, color, and hot target highlight.

Based on estimated heights of targets, you can quickly get the rough distance from the target with the built-in stadiametric rangefinder.

Track the hottest spot in the scene automatically and discover the target quickly.

[7.5 x 5.7°] I looked at units costing twice this much and am so glad i chose the StingIR. The resolution is amazing and the light weight is remarkable. I'm not much for cliche's but this is a win-win.

[Monocular] I knew that real thermal imagers were not cheap, but I am very pleased with this one's performance for the price. With only a 256-res chip, I wasn't expecting a lot of detail, but I could easily recognize deer 200 yards away, and a rabbit at 80 yards. The sensitivity is very good as well: I can see my dog's footprints in the grass for almost a minute, and the water levels in my opaque water barrels are obvious.

[2.095 lb] While there are many other more expensive units with higher resolution on market, this unit is just what you need to locate and identify game. It will identify game for very far away and depending on the size of the game, you can differentiate deer from hogs at distances of 100 yards or more. I was able to identify wild hogs and deer in swamps, fields and woods very easily. When you turn it on you may think the resolution is not sufficient, but the game show up very well, as well as people. For the price, its hard to beat.

[<40 mK] This is an excellent thermal unit with specific abilities. The protective case is filled with everything you need to mount it to a helmet/head harness, clip to a picatinny or scope on a .556/.223 (or smaller), or to use as hand-held. It includes one CR123A battery and even includes a rechargeable CR18650 battery if you are willing to use an included battery compartment extension tube.

The unit is waterproof, has multiple color settings, an internal compass, and optional reticle. You can purchase an additional flip-away picatinny mount if the included fixed mount is not to your liking. The fixed or flip-away allows for it to be mounted in front of a LPVO for night use, but it does not really work with a holographic sight due to eye-relief distances.

After looking at the pricing and use limitations of dedicated thermal scopes, this device hit the right spot for multi-platform use.

[384 x 288] Easy set up. Worked right off the bat and saw birds in the trees, deer many yards away, and lots of mice in the field. Fun to use.

[1280 x 960 ] I bought this device for birding, specifically looking for owls at night. Some of the top thermal scopes cost upwards of $4k. The problem is, they are clearly marked as Export Controlled. I don't want to get into any trouble with those. This little plug-in camera cost only $400. So I decided to give it a try. I brought it to Guatemala a few days ago, hooked up with an old Pixel 3A phone, it worked great, far better than I expected. I found an owl at night perched silently behind our cabin on my second night there. I could see the red-hot owl based on the body shape. Even smaller birds can show up as hotspots at night. Definitely worth the $$$.
