The SSD6202A supports a variety of single- and double-sided 2242, 2260, and 2280 SSDs.

An Out-of-Band (OOB) USB Type-C management port enables quick field maintenance, allowing the RAID storage to be administered in a pre-OS environment as well as secure data center and hosting applications without interacting with user data.

The controller features two hardware switches which can be used to configure one of three array modes including mirroring, striping, and JBOD configurations.

[Low Profile] I use this to connect to a HighPoint RocketStor 5322 Dual-Dedicated 6 Gbps eSATA Storage Dock. The purpose I use this setup for is Removable Backup Drives that are stored in the Safe to protect the data from Theft and Fire. I want to make an important note about Windows 8 and the use of this product. - Windows 8 and later shuts your computer down in a Hybrid Hibernation state, so that your computer starts up faster (if your OS is on an SSD it makes no difference in speed). If you leave this option turned on, it will not allow this controller to use the Drives connected to it as hot swappable and you will have many issues. If you turn this option off in Windows 8, everything works perfectly. - To get to this option in Windows 8 to turn it off, go to the Start button then click the magnifying glass for search and type po bu (stands for power button). Under Shutdown settings un-check Turn on fast startup (recommended). Click Save Changes at the bottom and then Re-start your computer. That is it, it will work perfectly now. I did not come up with that fix on my own I contacted HighPoint when I was having the issue and they first saw if they could recreate the issues I was having in their Lab and they were able to and told me they would contact me again when they have the issue resolved. A week later they contacted me and told me this fix for my OS. The issue had nothing to do with their hardware or software but an OS setting and they figured it out for me. I find that a rare thing these days and will Trust this company for future purchases if I need them. 5

[0.775 lb] Bought this card to replace the other USB card which went bad. So far so good! Plug & play, speed of transfer is good specially with faster cards. Bluetooth interference in my is not an issue since I have extended the Bluetooth antenna on my Mac Pro 2012. You still need to eject the card before Mac goes to sleep otherwise you get the error massage. No other issues I have encountered so far. 5

[Low Profile] SSD7101A-1 is a great card. I installed 4x Samsung 970 EVO+ to be used for rendering and I get 13,000 MB/s. A motherboard with 16x lanes is best for performance. It does come with a RAID software. 5

[0.775 lb] This is my 3rd RAID Tower from Highpoint. I started with a thunderbolt, upgraded to the thunderbolt 2 and now this one. Snappy response and pretty easy to setup, take your time and it’s start forward. B&H was great, I ordered and it was here in two days, safely packed!!! Thanks B&H! 5
