The brown Viviana Thigh Strap Wireless Transmitter Brownis designed to safely and conveniently attach a wireless transmitter on the talent's thigh. It is handcrafted in Italy using modern materials and design techniques based on ideas suggested by sound pros. Made of slim and stretchable fabric, the strap provides comfort and breathability for extended periods of use when working on film sets, "reality" TV shows, sports events, or stage performances.

The strap is 24" in length (unstretched) and features an overlap hook-and-loop fastener that provides a snug fit while staying invisible under the talent's clothing. Two additional hypoallergenic polyurethane strips on the inside keep the strap from slipping down the leg.

The universal pouch is made of moisture-resistant fabric, which provides protection against sweat reaching the transmitter. It stretches to hold small and large transmitters, and is equipped with a hook-and-loop strip to keep the transmitter securely in place, even in demanding situations.

Two cable pockets let you quickly tuck in the microphone cable, keeping it secure without using tape, while at the same time creating a safe strain-relief system if the cable is tugged on. The strap is color-coded with three mini color squares for easy identification.

A: When using the Viviana Cloud Wireless File Backup Solution with the Zoom F8 Multitrack Field Recorder, the audio will also be recorded on the SD card inside of the F8, as well as to DropBox over Wi-Fi or a mobile hot spot. According to Viviana, the Cloud will also work with the Zoom F6 Multitrack Field Recorder.

Q: 4. Can I use it with a Nikon mount A1?

A: If you mount this on Canon camera and want to trigger Nikon version of A1 yes you can . I you are using Nikon camera than you need Nikon version of this

A: The Viviana Straps Chest Extreme for Lavalier Microphones is 1-3/8" (30 mm) wide.

Q: 6. Is this unit compatible when using the MB D-17 battery grip ?

A: You wouldn't be able to use both the WT-7A and the MBD-17 together.

Q: 7. I don't have an Iphone, can I use the flash without the app, why isn't the app available for android? Not all photographers use apple products!

A: The app is only to control the output of the flash if using it in manual mode. Otherwise, the transmitter will fire a Profoto flash like the A1 if set to auto mode.

Q: 8. Can this be used with Nikon flashs?

A: No female threaded point for mounting. Only the male screw for mounting to the base.

Q: 10. Is this equipment recognized by Lightroom or capture one? Basically can I replace the tethering cable with the wt-7a and still download into either of the programs?

A: I was able to set up a quick test where I had the WT-7 send the picture to a folder on a hard drive, then have Adobe Lightroom take the picture and perform an action to the photo.

[0.1 lb] Bought this not knowing if I was ever going to use it, but had it in the event the situation arose where I couldn't place the transmitter on a belt. Well the day came and it sure came in handy being able to attach a microphone and transmitter to a speaker wearing a form fitted dress. Glad I bought this. It's one of those things you keep in your kit for the one off days that things like this happens and it makes all the difference. Will not get high milage from it, but it makes up in big ways. 5

[Brown] A lot of thought went into the design of these straps and it shows. With Neopax, I have had complaints about the velcro from the strap rubbing against them, and this is designed so the velcro is in a smalled triangle so the velcro won’t rub. The transmitter strap works so the velcro is on the outside, and makes this much more comfortable to actors, not to mention the material. It’s also much thinner. An actor thanked me the first day I got one of these. 5

[Brown] As a fairly new wedding videographer, I have only just recently begun focusing my attention away from how I can improve the quality of my videos, to instead focus exclusively on the audio within my videos. In that pursuit, this thigh strap has proven to be an incredible tool to help capture the best wedding audio possible. When paired with the white Tascam DR-10L mic, this thigh straps provides a concealed, comfortable, discreet option for holding the transmitter body and spare cable in place. I will typically have the bride put this on with the dress and then remove following the ceremony. This provides me with incredible, high-quality audio throughout several hours of the day - all without having any awkward protuberances or unsightly belt packs, which would be unacceptable at something like a wedding. 5

[5.9 x 3 x 1.4"] Works perfectly for a Tascam DR-10L recorder. Strap to hold the extra wire is fantastic. Comfortable as anything and slip is minimal, even for a sweaty bride in July. 5
