[Extended] In my 38 years of experience, I have found this network switch to be among the most effective I have ever used. Its seamless functionality works wonders and significantly simplifies IT operations.

[1-Year ] Switch was easy to deploy. Two user interfaces available. One is a simplified UI for quick and basic setup, the other for incorporating advanced features. Quality construction. Highly recommend this switch and Ubiquiti in general. Had to reach out to Ubiquiti support with a question on a Sunday. Got an answer within 1 hour

[Extended] Love this switch. First, shipping and response from B&H was great. It was packaged well and got here fast, no complaints at all.


The switch is great. If you haven't used Unifi then the controller software will be something new, but if you already use it then you know how it works, and adding this switch was super easy. It can get hot, but the fans aren't on all the time, only when it reaches 70*C internally. When the fans do kick on, they are quiet, much quieter than the larger PoE switches and about as loud as the US-16-150W, which is very quiet. It's quieter than a desktop gaming PC. You get two SFP+ ports that aren't available on the new Gen2 switch, and everything has worked like it should. Build quality is great, I have nothing bad to say about this device.

[Extended] These do the job for small to medium businesses with very low cost of ownership. High value, low cost makes a huge difference for non-profits like ourselves. The controller is easy to use and lets us manage all of our Unifi devices in one place. Ubiquiti is great about keeping the products up to date with new firmware too.

[Extended] You won't beat the performance and reliability of this switch at the price point. I have no concerns and would highly recommend. I'm using it in a home installation with 60 ports installed (so combined with a Ubiquity 24 port) and powering WAP and security devices over Ethernet. Zero issues and superior performance over a previous Netgear smart switch.

[Extended] We have two of these switches in deployment at a small business. One is primarily for handling PoE security cameras, while the other is for workstations. Has been very reliable and not given us any issues in about 3 years we've had these units.

[1-Year ] I haven't had this switch real long yet but so far it's been great! I really like the way the web interface works on all Ubiquiti products and how you can control them all from one place through the web interface

[1-Year ] When it comes to Ubiquity
either you like it, or you don't. I
really like the features that they include and the ease it is to setup. With the 10 GB SFP+ it is easy to link these
switches with the DAC cables. I have four
of these in my rack (2 x 48 Port, 2 x 24 port POE) and one (24 Port POE) in a
remote location connected with a 10 GB fiber run. They are fast and reliable. The controller software has some issues but
nothing that would cause me to go another direction. The biggest issue is the Topology changes every
now and then and shows devices connected to switches that they are not.
