[2 Hours] When I bought this I had only moderate expectations. The reviews here are good but the reviews on that other website "where everybody buys stuff" were not so good. Stories about instability and lack of compatibility abound. So I was pleasantly surprised when I started to use this. It paired immediately with my Samsung galaxy note 20. The app installed without incident via a QR code. As soon as the gimbal paired attached it offered to update its own firmware, which completed without any issues. I have had absolutely no problems with the gimbal crashing, or the app crashing, or the video recorder stopping. It has all being stable as can be.

The only complaint is a minor one and it has to do with charging the battery. The lower port is used for charging. Even though it is a USB-C port it is not USB-C PD capable. This means you need to use a charger with a USB-A port, and a USB A to USB-C charge cable. if you try to use a USB-C PD charger, the device will not charge. While this is only a minor issue it should be mentioned in the documentation and it is not. I was able to determine that the device will charge at 10W.

The gimbal works extremely well. It is very stable, and the video quality is much better than what I was getting out of the phone previously. It has no problem handling my Samsung note 20 ultra which is a very large and heavy phone.

The big upside with this model compared with its obvious competitors (ie, DJI OM4) is that it has 3.5mm ports for an external microphone. The model I bought from B&H included the Saramonic smartmic. My phone does not have a microphone jack so I purchased an analog to USB-C adapter for $13. The result is much better audio than I was able to capture with the smart phone alone.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

[Single Handgrip] This gimbal is awesome it's easy to use and easy to set up. It's great if this is your first gimbal and the price is amazingly reasonable as well. This is my first gimbal and I am loving it. It has taken my videography to the next level, I am glad I made the purchase.

[1.5 A] I was searching for a travel gimbal, and wanted something that was well-made and well-supported. This Benro fit the bill - multiple year warranty, plus wireless phone charging (only one or two others had this), and unique audio connections, plus outstanding battery life. The Benro app is stable and easy to use on my Android and iPhone. Charging and use times are as good as advertised, which was nice to see. Now to make some videos!

[1: Pitch (Tilt)] I got this product to enhance our live-streaming programs primarily because it uses an external microphone to enhance the audio but additional cable & adapter were needed aside from the basic cables ... once I received these, the next program was much better audio-wise ... the only gripe is that the device does not allow thru-the-device charging ... but then again, I may be missing something ... will use it more to be proficient at it ... thanks!

[2 Hours] I'm very happy with this gimbal and actually only have one issue which I should have caught before committing to it - the lightning port is covered up when the phone is in the holder as designed which blocks use of an external mic. I am searching for a work around using Bluetooth or WiFi. Feedback and suggestions welcome.
But back to the gimbal. It handles my iPhone 12 just great. The feel is that of having a very sturdy build. The app is a great adjunct to the gimbal amd the features all work beautifully. It's a keeper and I'd definitely recommend it with the one caveat about the lightning port.
