[Neoprene] Very sharp lens with excellent bokeh. While this lens is expensive, it's a great addition for those that need a lens in the 50mm range.

[0.105 lb] Super fast focusing, incredibly sharp even at f1.2.
At first I thought it was kind of heavy but it seems about the same as the rf 24-70, 24-105 and 70-200 4.0. It feels nice and balanced on the R5/6.

[Black] Only got to use it once so far but was surprised as heck at the sharpness at 1.2.

[0.105 lb] I have a few lenses in my kit bag to choose from but this one never fails. Solid performer time and time again with portraits, modeling, sports our product photography. A must have for the Pro shooter.

[Black] It's true, that gear does not make you a better creator. BUT... this lens will upgrade your product, no doubt. I shoot Product Marketing Videos, High-End Airbnb Properties, Music Videos ETC. and I use this for everything, as often as it makes sense. It's just smooth and beautiful. If you've used the 50mm 1.4, this is a massive upgrade, and a great deal sharper.

[Black] I rented this lens about a year ago and used it for two shoots. Everything I captured felt new and amazing!

1.2 is pretty shallow, however, when you pair it with the auto focus technology on the Canon RF series cameras, it takes out a LOT of the issues.

50mm is right between wide and telephoto, and I could imagine using this to shoot an entire day if need be.

The bokeh is UNREAL.

[0.105 lb] Yes, it’s pricy. Yes, it’s heavier than a typical Nifty Fifty. But, wow - this lens is razor sharp and the background blurs like butter. I love it. The lens makes me want to shoot more. Great colors too. Love the lens.

[Black] I had the Sigma 50mm EF lens so the first RF lens I purchased was the 28-70 2.0 RF zoom. That zoom was so good I didn't feel I needed the RF 50mm. The second lens I purchased was the 85mm 1.2 RF which is a beast of a lens. There were a few purchases along the way and I finally decided to go ahead and get the 50mm 1.2 RF. WOW, this is the one that says on my camera unless I need one of the other specialties. It's funny how some think it's a large lens but isn't for me as I lived with the two other beasts and this is a light weight. Quality image and fast focus.

[0.105 lb] I bought this over the Canon 85mm f/1.2 because I didn't want bokeh overload and wanted a little more than headshots. I got what I expected. I will make this review short, there is no way I can give this lens less than 5 stars. Period.
