For this rig library, Choptones chose to capture the venerable Fender Concert. A tube-powered 60W amp with one clean channel and one overdrive channel, the '80s Concert is a true workhorse amp combo that has long been a favorite among funk and blues players. The sparkling clean channel resembles the sound of larger Fenders and takes pedals very well, such as those included in this library. A true hit among clean tone seeking enthusiasts, this amp is adept at mid-gain sounds through its overdrive channel, for harder, more aggressive music genres and playing styles.

The Fend Concerto rig library was captured using numerous cabinets and speakers for a wide variety of Fender-style clean and overdriven flavors. The seven cabinet and speaker combos include:

  • Fender Concert 2x10 loaded with Fender CTS
  • Fender 2x12 loaded with Jensen C12K
  • Fender 2x12 loaded with Eminence Special Design
  • Fender 4x10 loaded with Fender CTS
  • Fender 1x12 loaded with Celestion V-Type
  • Fender 1x12 loaded with Alnico Blue
  • Fender Bassman 2x12 loaded with Celestion G1250

This rig library was created using an assortment of 15 different quality microphones for a range of IRs and tones to ensure accurate and flexible simulation. This list includes:

  • Shure SM57, SM58, and SM7
  • Sennheiser MD421 and e609
  • Royer R121
  • Beyerdynamic M160
  • Neumann U87, U47, KM84, and TLM103
  • AKG C12
  • Audio-Technica AT2035
  • RCA 77DX
  • RM700

Along with its many cab/speaker combos and mics, this rig library was captured using eight guitar pedals for potent gain boosting and further sonic possibilities. This includes:

  • Marshall Bluesbreaker
  • Ibanez TS9
  • Boss OD1
  • Boss BD2
  • MXR Distortion III
  • MXR Modified OD
  • Analogman King of Tone
  • Suh Shiba Drive

[Download] These rigs sound amazing! Lots of different impulses and captures to match most scenarios. The addition of direct rigs for use with even more impulse responses is a huge bonus.

[Download] This is a great tripod. Well built and great functionality. We've had it over a year now with heavy use, and it still looks and works like new. We use it in both live IMAG and interview type environments. Easy to adjust and compact size when in bag. If it ever goes on sale with the remote again, I'll be picking up a couple more.

[Download] I've been looking for a case like this for a while. I have a Sony F5 with an Angenieux 25-250, MB, FF on other accessories. This bag is big enough where I can configure the camera in advance and safely transport it locally. That way, on location I can pull it out and start shooting with out too much fussing. There is plenty of extra room for camera mounted mics, monitors, cables and other goodies so the kit is self contained. But be aware, this is a big bag. You are not going to throw this over your shoulder heading out the door. Thank goodness it has wheels.

[Download] This is the perfect rig for small, flexible productions!
BTW I read here comments which have nothing to do with this product, since they speak about Pocket Rig 1! The second-generation rig is much lighter and stable.

[Download] I own two PocketRigs, one for each of my GH4's. I use them all the time on all sorts of active shoots. This thing is solid, it's portable and it just works the way it's intended. I don't like nor use large shoulder rigs, and this well-designed pocket rig works for me. My camera attaches via it's tripod mount to a very grippy and secure base. The fold-out 15mm rods support my mic, another handle (used when I'm not filming and just need to rest), and a follow focus knob. The extendable shoulder (or chest) stock presses against me without collapsing. This is a small and very functional setup. With anything that you use regularly and professionally, you'll need to do maintenance. Any slop that was generated after weeks of use was simply remedied with a tightening of the specific areas that needed it. An allen wrench is included to do this. I am definitely a happy customer, and Edelkrone will make sure you are as well. One of my original PocketRig's 15mm rod broke when I dropped the entire rig, and Edelkrone had me back up and running in no time. I'm glad the rod broke because it saved the camera and mic from becoming casualties. It's a great product and it has, and will, continue to serve me on all my shoots.
