Featuring both 2.5G Ethernet and 10G SFP+ fiber WAN ports, the UniFi Dream Machine Special Edition is designed to help business owners manage and scale their network connections. Its integrated security gateway offers customizable internet threat filtration and traffic identification with a 3.5 Gb/s max throughput rate. In addition to having a 10G SFP+ fiber LAN port, the built-in 8-port managed network switch includes six 15W RJ45 Ethernet ports alongside two 30W ports to deliver power and data to IP cameras and other PoE-compatible devices. Surveillance recordings may be stored on the integrated 128GB solid-state drive, and you can install a separately purchased 3.5" hard drive to increase storage capacity. [15.4 to 30 W] The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Dream Machine Pro is a true enterprize level router with easy setup. Our IT person replaced a hacked Cisco unit with the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Dream Machine Pro and had the system on-line within an hour. Add in the ability to work seamlessly with the Ubiquiti Networks LTE modem and you have a very reliable and usable solution with backup. 5

[Yes] I already had a Ubiquiti switch. This device identified everything I had on my network, including devices on my non-ubiqiiti WiFi. It knows the difference between your Alexa device, TV brand, etc. It's great for knowing what's happening on your network. I'm buying their WiFi system next. 5

[12.465 lb] Happy to highly recommend this unit, it's ease of integration into an existing UniFi network is unsurpassed. One of its chief advantages is its ability to maintain very high near GB internet download speeds while integrating full IPS/IDS settings. That, for me at least, was worth its price. Having an NVR HDD bay and 10 LAN ports is icing on the cake. I also want to shout out B&H service. I ordered the unit on a late Sunday evening, and got delivery next day. Wow. These folks have their ops down pat! That's why I continue to use/recommend them over Amazon and other retailers. Bottom line: the UDM Pro is a big improvement over the CloudKey Gen2+/Security Gateway combo I previously employed. 5

[15.4 to 30 W] It was a smooth install, I simply did a backup of my cloudkey and did a restore on the dream machine pro and it adopted all my unifi cameras and access points. Installed a few sfp cards and boom I'm up and running a 10g network. I should be good for my internet router for some time to come. Having dual wan support is awesome, if I ever need redundancy for WAN. The updates took a while to do. I opted for the dream machine pro not the dream machines pro se. The big difference was link speed on the WAN ports are 1g or 10g only I got around this with a media converter that auto negotiates with the modem to give me max link speed but links to the dream machine at 10g. My internet speed before I have upgraded my service went from a capped 1gbps service and now pulls down 1.2gbps to 1.6gbps speeds. 5
