A: The Epson L1800 is not specified to accept roll fed paper. It can only accept friction fed sheets in the paper feed tray.

A: The R3880 does not have a roll option. It only accepts cut sheets 17x22 or smaller, nothing wider then 17 inches. We do carry stretcher bars. Here is the link: http://bhpho.to/Uxtk2GThere are no advantages with using either oil or acrylic paint.

Q: 8. Can this paper be used with Canon Lucia Ink on a Canon Pro 9500 Mark II printer?

A: Ilford went out of business, and the this paper is discontinued. So do not invest in any old stock left behind. For what it's worth, the Epson Exhibition Fiber is the closest match in thickness and color, but cost more. The Epson Ultra Premium Photo Luster matches color, but is a thinner paper than the Exhibition, but cost a ton less. After trying a small army of papers to replace Ilford, we settled on the Epson Ultra Luster I just mentioned.

A: The Premier Imaging Decor Matte Bright White Canvas (24" x 100' Roll) is acid free.

Q: 10. How does this paper compare to silver gelatin B&W paper or color RA-4 paper ? I wanted to print my film negatives at home, but I don't have the skills, neither space to have a darkroom (color printing would be almost impossible for me),so is this paper good for making inkjet prints from negatives ?

A: It would be close match to silver gelatin B&W paper.

[1x Paper Roll] The 8.5x11 Fibre Silk provides me with a paper which holds strong color and provides good detail for my initial work print. Then I proceed to a larger format 17x22. The only draw back right now is the 25 sheet package is the only one available. I normally use the 50 sheet packages. 5

[370 gsm] Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk has been my go-to paper for both black and white and color pigment prints, when I want a semi-gloss finish. Its long tonal range and good separation in highlights and shadows won my heart after I tested it against about a zillion other papers. However, Ilford has regrettably discontinued it, and it's becoming quite difficult to get. They have replaced it with Gold Fibre Gloss, which, despite its name also has a semi-gloss finish, and almost the same tonal response, but without optical brighteners, the whites are supressed just a little bit--enough to make me and a lot of other users search for an alternative (Canson Photographique II, which also seems to be unavailable at this time). It's a tough moment for semi-gloss users! This made me re-discover my love for matte papers, like the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300. 5

[Cotton Rag] I have a exhibition coming soon and have been showcasing my images on Gold Fibre Silk to critical reviewers and I must say that the paper shows extremely well. It has nice weight and reproduces black and white really well. 5
