(Please note that as of this writing there is no USB-based power option for the popular EOS R100 (B&H# CAER100).)

I got the OEM Nikon dummy battery from the B&H used store, and this unit works flawlessly with it in my OG Z6. I've used it along with an external recorder and a large SSD to record multiple hours non-stop, and on my desk use it to power the Z6 as a web cam while working. In the few weeks I've owned it, it's been flawless in hours of continuous use. If you're worried about using this non-OEM adapter, or if you can use it with the OEM Nikon dummy battery, in both instances it's been perfect for me. 5
