Keep your hands warm and dry even in harsh conditions with these size large RucPac Extreme Tech Gloves.

When you're out in the cold, conserve heat by using the outer mitten over-layer, and then when you need to work or perform any task that requires dexterity, just fold the mitten and thumb back to expose your fingers. Magnets hold the folded-back finger and thumb covers out of the way to ensure they don't interfere with your work.

Its wind- and water-resistant mitten outer shell offers protection from the elements with insulation to keep the cold out. The palm has rubberized grips to keep your gear safe and secure in your hand with an adjustable wrist strap. You can wear the Extreme Tech Gloves by themselves, or for additional warmth and protection you can layer them over RucPac's Professional Tech Gloves.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What does 'Weather Resistant' mean. One comment said the dye ran when they got wet. Are they not supposed to get wet?

A: They are fine if they get wet, but they become (and stay) wet. They are not waterproof like snow gloves.

Q: 2. Will these fit Leica M6?

A: The Leica M6 35mm Film Rangefinder Camera has been discontinued and is no longer available. While the camera is not available for testing and I have no way to confirm the size/thickness of the strap eyelet opening, it appears the RucPac Triangle Split Ring should be compatible for use with the Leica M6. However, do note that if you purchase the items and find they are not compatible, you may contact our Customer Service Department to inquire about returning the rings for an exchange or a refund.

Q: 3. Any padding in this, especially for lower back or does it make the hard shell hit against your back?

A: the harness works well.. but is a little snug to fit. there is no padding- this includes lower back, but it really doesn't engage lower back.. it presses against the upper part of the back (although, i'm 6'2 .. so maybe it rests differently if you're shorter). it's hard against one's back, but i've never felt any ill effects. i've climbed up steep/ long staircases in indonesia, had it on my back on a scooter.. it's served its purpose well. i was concerned about its durability from reviews but have found no issues. i recommend it.

Q: 4. I want know how many lens & body can fit in this case.

A: The RucPac Hardcase Backpack Conversion is just the straps for the RucPac Hardcase.

Q: 5. What is the inside length of the side of the triangle? I'm wondering how wide a strap can be threaded through the triangle, fitting nicely against the side.

A: It is approxemelty 1/4 inch.

Q: 6. Do they include the inside liner, or are the fingers exposed when flipped back?

A: The RucPac Extreme Tech Gloves do not come with a liner, but may be used with one. By default, if used without a liner, your fingers will be exposed when the over-mitten is flipped back.

Q: 7. will it fit a17" laptop

A: No, you cannot fit a 17" laptop in this pack.

Q: 8. Hi, will this works with the Pelican 1615Air ?

A: Yes this product is compatible with the Pelican 1615 Air.

Q: 9. what materials are these made of?

A: Per the sewn-in label: 90% polyester, 10% elastane. Hand wash only.

Q: 10. Will this work with the Pelican 1535 Air?

A: Yes it fits this case perfectly

[8 x 5 x 2"] These gloves are more insulated than I expected and they're well designed. The magnets hold well, wrist adjustments are fast, and the little elastic loops along the top edge of the fingers make it easy to pull the gloves off. I intend to wear these by themselves (not over liners). Size Small fits me well (7 circumference at the knuckles, 2.25 around my thickest finger), but someone with thicker fingers might want to go up a size.

[Nylon] These glove kept my hands comfortably warm while shooting in cold and windy weather. I've tried all the different types of gloves but mittens are the best for keeping all your fingers warm until you need to shoot pictures, change lenses, adjust the camera, etc., and the mittens open and close easily.

[0.43 lb] I have been using these in temperatures ranging from -11 to the 30's. My hands stay warm the entire time I am out in the cold taking photos which is usually roughly two to three hours. I have also learned to shoot with the flaps up and not hit buttons unintentionally LOL. In closing I am pleasantly surprised with the fact these gloves keep my hands comfortable at such low temperatures and lastly, this review is based on usage in dry conditions only at this time.

[Nylon] It's nice to be able to keep hands warm and still have relatively good control of my camera when the temperatures dip into the 20's.

[Nylon] I am so impressed with this company! I originally received these gloves as a gift and had an issue with the thumb covers not staying on. However, RucPac went above and beyond to resolve my issue and ensure I was happy with their product. The gloves are now working great and they are exactly what I needed for photographing skiers in the cold and wind.

[Nylon] These make all the difference when you're messing with camera equipment in freezing temps. The only improvement I would make is to add a velcro strap so that my Hot Hands hand warmers don't fall out when I have the mitten open.
