Q: 1. Can this be used in an Epson SureColor P400?

A: Yes, the Epson Glossy Exhibition Canvas Archival Inkjet Paper can be used in a Surecolor P400.

Q: 2. So, gloss canvas still has to be coated?

A: Coating a printed image is never required. It is optional but highly recommended for added protection.

Q: 3. Is there a fading problem, even after I varnish it properly ?...can I use for Fine Art ?

Q: 4. Im learning to develop B&W negatives on my own. Since this is a chromogenic film, can this film be developed in the standard B&W developing process or would this require a different process?

A: I would not try to personally develop this film. There are professional labs that still develop it in c-41 chemistry. I only work in 120 film and it is my film of choice if I want to make HUGE enlargements in B&W. It has a wide latitude and is extremely sharp. T. Nell (marina my wife, placed the order)

Q: 5. Is this paper compatible with my Epson HD-15000 printer and my Canon Pro 300 printer?..thanks..

A: The sheets of Inkpress Media Pro Glossy Canvas will work on both the Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 ( which can handle a thickness of 23 mil, the XP15000 can handle 23 mil thickness) and the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300 13" Professional Photographic Inkjet Printer that can handle up to 380gsm since these Inkpress sheets are only 310gsm.

Q: 6. Can someone who has printed extensively on Gold Fibre Silk describe any differences between that and this new Gold Fibre Gloss paper other than the heavier weight? Is paper base around the same level of white? Is the surface any different looking/feeling?

A: Both papers are about the same level of white. The only difference is the thickness.

Q: 7. why do you call it paper? isn't it canvas? does this stretch on stretcher bars?

A: This cotton-poly blended canvas features elastic polymers that provide the high tensile strength necessary for gallery wrap stretching without cracking. It is canvas but it is a mix of synthetic and cotton materials.

Q: 8. what media type setting should use on my epson HD-15000 and Canon Pro 300 printers? thanks

A: The Inkpress Media Pro Glossy Canvas would use Premium Glossy for the Epson 15000 and Glossy Photo Paper for the Canon.

Q: 9. Can I use this paper with an Epson R3000 printer? Seems to be too thick. Thanks.

A: Yes. The Ilford GALERIE Gold Fibre Gloss Paper (5 x 7", 50 Sheets) is compatible with the Epson R3000 printer.

Q: 10. What kind of coating should I use?

A: I would recommend this Hahnemuhle satin: https://bhpho.to/3vXdFeM

[400 gsm] The 8.5x11 Fibre Silk provides me with a paper which holds strong color and provides good detail for my initial work print.  Then I proceed to a larger format 17x22.

The only draw back right now is the  25 sheet package is the only one available.  I normally use the 50 sheet packages.

[1x Paper Roll] I had previously used papers with inferior weight and was primarily inclined towards this paper because of its heavy weight. Well, it turns out that this paper has so much more to offer than just it's heavy weight. I love the pearl satin finish it offers and the Dmax and color gamut are very impressive on my Epson 6000. 24x36 prints are easy to handle because of the heavy weight.

[98%] Worked well for my college photography class! Paper eventually loses it pictures after time but that is common with this kind of paper. Makes good prints, just dont expose it to ANY light whatsoever.

[Single] I have a exhibition coming soon and have been showcasing my images on Gold Fibre Silk to critical reviewers and I must say that the paper shows extremely well. It has nice weight and reproduces black and white really well.

[1x Paper Roll] i bought this paper because it offered one of the best options in the market for large format prints. its a 310 gsm paper, its heavy enough to be manipulated without any problem considering large pieces of printed paper, thats what i was looking for initially. tone gradation its perfect for me. black in settle down very good in this paper. its surface is smooth and slightly textured, though not as present as in other papers by canson, innova or hanemhulle..... the price is just right for this product.... i like rc paper because i want to keep my framing option open as in the case i want to glue the paper to aluminum support or metacrilate plates, RC paper is the best option in this case..... Ilford in my opinion has better offers than epson paper, besides its a much more well reputed manufacturer
