[0.24 lb] Small, but reasonably strong.

[0.24 lb] As usual, you get what you pay for. This Ball Head mount is 4x more expensive than some cheaper options, but it may just be 4x better. Others often have some wiggle, even after you secure them, especially when use with heavy weight items, like a 5 monitor with battery. This Manfrotto is solid. Zero shifting once you've locked it in place, even with heavier loads. I often run as a one man operation, so I just need gear to be locked in and reliable, I don't have the time or manpower to constantly make adjustments. For me Manfrotto has always been worth the price. This is my second one of these, and the first has been rock solid for years.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Need ball head with fast attachment to camera without sometimes clumsy alternatives? This is it. Great for monopods and travel tripods. Easy on/off. Bought two. Worth it.

[Yes] I don’t really need the coldshoe functionality of this head. I just wanted a solid built ball head, and it certainly is that. Excellent machining and finish, and holds firm with a very easy twist of the lock knob. I will probably order a second.

[Yes] I purchased this ball head because it has a camera support platform with grooves in it so you can tighten
it my hand. I do not use quick release platforms at all.
I removed the side flash mount, and put this head on
my new Andycine table top tripod, which I really like and this little head works great. It is solid metal and
I really like it.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Good quality and versatile ball head for my Feelworld monitor.

[Yes] This ball head works great when combined with a miniature cold foot microphone and an LED panel. Use the cold foot to 1/4x20 adapter that comes with the LED panel to mount the ball head to the camera's flash shoe. Mount the LED panel to the ball screw and the microphone to the side cold shoe. The unit accommodates all needed adjustments and can be adequately secured with minimal fuss.

[Ball Head] This appears to be very well made. I expect it to do its job for a long time. It also has a lot of flexibility. I might buy another.

[Ball Head] I bought this to replace a cheap head on a small stand for my camera. This one is a lot better. When the ball is locked the weight of the camera does not cause it to swift or change position. The shoe mount is also very useful if you need a mic or LED light added.
