A: The Magnus DeskGrip Mini Smartphone Tripod (Black) BH #MAMST350B will only allow you to mount it in landscape mode, however, once it is mounted you will be able to rotate the phone to portrait mode as shown on one of the product images.

[0.135 lb] This stand folds up so compactly that it can be taken anywhere. Just about every type of usage has been taken into consideration and it is fully adjustable for different angles of usage. The materials are sturdy yet lightweight and there are rubber feet for non-skid grip as well, for surface protection on both the table/counter contact points and the back of the phone or tablet. Additionally, there is an Arca Swiss plate built in, in order to be able to mount it on a tripod if needed. All in all an incredibly well thought out stand that suits all my usage needs at home and on the go. 5

[ABS, Aluminum] I bought two of these. One to hold an iPad which displays my script, and the other to mount an iPhone which captures the recording stream from the audio interface. These were the last two components of my voice over booth. Now, all the hardware is mounted on a single mic stand. These holders are very secure and versatile. Perfect for my application! 5

[Clamp] This is part of the Triad - Orbit system of interchangeable stands and mounts. We attached it to a rolling stand and works great for Zoom calls etc. It can hold any phone or iPad. The clamp and flexible extension are metal and built to last. The phone mount at the end is plastic but we have had no issues. The phone mount can be removed and other ball heads or mic mounts can be added in its place. It’s not cheap but the whole Triad Orbit universe gets addicting because it works. 5

The hardware is sturdy and easy to secure; with this universal mount, you don't need to buy any other Triad Orbit stands to use the convenient quick-release system; the ball swivel adjustment makes this the easiest to position exactly where you want it. 5
