Q: 4. Bought a new Dell 8930 at the same time I purchased this I put a Samsung 970 EVO M.2. SSD in and installed it in a PCIEx4 slot. I can see and use the card but the Dell will not do a "Restart" I have to do a shut down and then cold boot to get the computer to work. If I just hit a restart (in a software upgrade for example) the Dell will not do the restart it freezes with no video and I have to do a hard shut down and a cold boot. I worked with Dell for days on the problem, I"ve talked with Samsung and with StarTech. If I pull the adapter with the drive the computer works perfect so it is something with the combination of the card and the SSD in the PCIE slot. Windows 10 pro is Up To Date, All Drivers are up to date and everything works except when I need to do a "Restart" it is a real pain when I have to do a major update I need to pull the card or the update does not get done. Does anyone else have the same Problem?

A: This is a sounding like a limitation on that PCI-e port. Now if its just to hold sample data, and not bootable it might be best to see if the bios has initialization of all formatted drives before start up disabled, and see if you have better results.

Q: 8. Will this work with the Sony FX30?

A: Unfortunately, the Tilta CFexpress Type A to M.2 Side Storage Handle is not compatible with the Sony FX30.

Q: 9. Can this be used on an a1 with the battery grip if the bottom plate is removed? It looks like this can be achieved by removing the two screws, but I'm uncertain if it would fit with the grip.

Q: 10. Would a Crucial 4TB P3 Plus NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 Internal SSD card work with this?

A: Synology has not listed any non-Synology drives on their compatibility list for the E10M20-T1 M.2 SSD & 10GbE Combo Adapter Card, but any PCIe M.2 2280 or 22110 drive should work.

[0.07 lb] Perfect for building CFexpress B cards on the cheap! Get some reliable 2230 NVMe ssd like Samsung or Micron off fleabay (256GB for 20 bucks), put some thermal paste and you have a great card at unbeatable price.

Using a Samsung P991a (not the 991) 2230 NVMe, I can get a ~2.5s 20fps lossless raw (~54frames on average) burst on the Z9 for photos. The prograde cobalt 165gb gives me around 80 frames for the same (guess the internal buffer limits this?). For HE raw or HE*, it is pretty much unlimited for all I care.

Plan to upgrade to the Micron 2450 based ssd, which should pretty much give another performance boost.

Haven't shot video thoroughly, but seems to have no issues with Prores 12bit for 30s (didn't check longer).

I wouldn't recommend this for mission critical work, but given cheap options for tge casual shooter.

[0.07 lb] The drive performs amazingly on my steam deck. I love how fast the read and write speeds are.
The SSD got to me pretty quick. I had never bought anything from BHphotovideo. And I'm glad to say I will be buying stuff from them again

[1x M.2 2230] Requires a bit of patience to install, but overall it was quite easy and definitely worth it for the extra storage. I've certainly noticed an increase in speed since I upgraded from the 64GB eMMC storage.

[0.07 lb] Upgraded my 64GB Steam Deck with this and it has been an improvement overall. The stock eMMC is extremely slow in comparison so the Deck boots faster, loads faster, installs faster, etc. Upgrading the SSD in your 64GB Deck is well worth your time and money. The Sabrent SSD works perfectly, is lightning fast, reasonably priced and comes in a very cool case! I now have a 1TB Steam Deck that cost me $570 total, giving me double the storage of the 512GB Deck for $80 less.

[1x M.2 2230] I was looking for a replacement for my CFast cards where the case had been damaged. Since I couldn't find any plain cases, I tried these, and they work great. I didn't use the chip that came in the case.

[0.07 lb] Super fast shipping (as always!!) and great packaging (again as always!)

Got it a day earlier than predicted. Installed it into my steam deck that night and downloaded half of my library. Love it! So much faster than stock ssd.

[0.07 lb] I bought this to upgrade my steam deck OEM 64GB drive. The price may be a bit high, but the packaging is lovely and can be re used for other various things. This little drive was very easy to install in the Steam Deck. You can watch videos on how to do so. Installing the games on it worked out well and I have no issues with running games from it.

[0.07 lb] Purchased the 1tb drive to replace my 64GB model. The 1tb is slightly bigger than the original which makes putting the insulating sleeve on a tiny bit trickier, but has no problem fitting properly in the deck. So far it's been a great experience without issue. Would definitely recommend for Steam Deck.

[1x M.2 2230] Needed to upgrade the 64GB Steam Deck to a higher capacity and the Silicon Power 1TB was compatible and at a good price.

Bought it and it was delivered fast.

Upgraded the Steam Deck with no issues. Took about 15m to unshell and install. Reimaged the OS and was back in business to mobile game!
