[Gold Mount] In various projects

[Gold Mount] Anton Bauer batteries and accessories have not failed me yet, but there's a fairly steep up-front cost to pay. This plate is plastic. It's decent plastic, but for the price, I was a little surprised that it wasn't something a little more robust. In any case, it works well attached to my Zacuto Zwiss plate v.2 and powers my rig through an entire production day without issue with the Digital 150 AB battery.

[Gold Mount] There are a number of uses for this plate. I purchased my first one 15yrs ago and have never had a problem.

[Gold Mount] Snaps right in and gives me power to my FX6 from a Core 98 for over 5 hours. I do mostly interviews, so I feel comfortable using it without screwing it in to a top plate. This gives me the option to quickly switch to bp batts for when the camera needs to be small. I would probably screw it in for run and gun stuff

[Gold Mount] At first I was skeptical about the fact that a light smaller than it’s competition is promising those output figures (20,000 LUX at 1m) But after taking the leap and buying one, boy was I astonished by the results. 

I love the fact that this fixture is bi-color and has such a high output, meaning I don’t have to worry about the setting I’m working in, as I can always adjust the light and the intensity accordingly. Never do I have to worry about the logistics and the weather conditions of a certain shoot anymore, as I can always pair up the fixture with a water resistant battery, set up the light and scene, and when needed, adjust the light from a distance from my smartphone (this feature has come in handy so many times when the light is mounted high up on a c-stand).

Even though the fixture is slightly heavier than the Litepanels Astra 6X, I understand that in order to achieve the weatherproof rating that it has, it needs to have some compromises (in this case an all aluminum housing that acts as a heatsink in order to cool the light), but the in my opinion the benefits that come with it - completely silent, dust and water resistant, outweigh the only downside.

In my opinion the higher price point is worth the investment, as this will probably be the only panel light that you need!

[Gold Mount] Everything just snapped in place and worked like a charm.

[Gold Mount] I used these power D-Tap mounts on many occasions, on my camera, steadicam even my Jimmy Jib. Very reliable and love the D-tap outlet. Nothing negative to say about it!

[Gold Mount] I have had the Practilite 602's for years (perfect small fresnels!) and I thought I will also give a try to this new LED panel. It's built really well, it's extremely bright and at the same time - small! Best lighting fixture I have in my lighting kit. The app works perfectly from really far away, I can adjust the light to match the filming situation by any second, the weatherproof V-Lock battery plate is amazing and....If I want to film really close to the subject I have no cooling noise coming out of the fixture.

I can light up the studio photoshoots, I can make videos outside with any condition there is - snow, rain, sand - you name it. Outdoor photoshoots, documentary clips, interviews. I've done everything with this light and I never had to disappoint.

Really recommend it to everyone who are looking for a durable, rugged documentary/broadcast fixture. Worth the price 100%
