[>25 dB / 1 kHz] Playing Peter Gabriel’s The Rhythm of the Heat. Bringing down the house. The Beatles 2018 White Album and Abbey Road. Beautiful. Plenty of bass and highs. Paired it all up with a Rotel MKII and a pair of KLH Model 5’s. Extremely nice pairing for authentic vinyl reproduction. Everything sounds loud and clear, no hum or fuzz when playing vinyl through the Rotel’s phono amp. This turntable has gold-plated connectors and according to the us.technics website (https://us.technics.com/products/direct-drive-turntable-system-sl-1500c-k) lots of separation in the components to reduce noise. This is an excellent pairing for my needs. I do not know if I will use the auto lift feature. But nice just in case. Highly recommend this turntable in this price range. Extremely rigid and heavy build. I looked at a few other turntables in this price range and sure, you can get a Rega Planar 3, very cool, but I just felt that it was too fine and delicate for my setup. Plus I decided I didn’t want a belt drive. I guess I’m not a purist. I wanted something beefy and this is a beast with refinement. Super quiet and beautiful, matte-black version. Highly recommend it.

[20Hz to 25kHz] What a beautiful statement this Thorens turntable makes in the gloss white color! Also, it sounds fantastic. This was an upgrade for me from a turntable that has no preamp. With this model’s built in preamp, my listening experience has been dramatically elevated. As an added bonus, the white matches our entertainment center perfectly. It is so unique. I have never seen a white turntable. I had to call BH customer service due to an issue with the website trying to charge me too much for shipping. The agent I spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he resolved my issue immediately and even processed the order right then so I didn’t have to lift a finger. I am beyond pleased with both the product and BH’s customer support. But that’s nothing new. BH always has top notch products and service. That’s why I keep coming back!

[>25 dB / 1 kHz] This stand is amazing. I’m so glad I made the choice to spend a little more for a Direct Drive wheel stand. It comes with everything you need ( all predrilled) to mount your wheel/pedals, shifter and handbrake. No flex what so ever!! Easily adjustable, although you will have to loosen, and tighten the nuts and bolts to make adjustments, but honestly it’s worth it for the stability this stand brings.. everything you need is included. Instructions are easy to read!! And as always doing business with B&H you product will arrive promptly.. I received mine within a week.. I definitely recommend this stand.. I’m only using the Thrustmaster TS-XW which put out around 6 Newton meters of force. It’s good to know that when I do upgrade it can handle whatever I throw at it.. the finish is a flat black.. very nice!!! So pleased with this stand!! Way to go Next Level Racing!!!

If you're not using it for DJ applications simply replace the stylus with an AT95 Series elliptical stylus and your all set. Simple low cost upgrades would better cables, rubber mat and a record clamp. You won't be disappointed with this tables cost performance ratio.
