The Kopul 5000 Series XLR M/F Microphone Cable 75'is a studio- and broadcast-quality 4-conductor cable precision engineered for maximum rejection of RFI and electro-magnetic interference, extremely quiet performance, high flexibility and durability. Its twisted quad-conductor design features oxygen-free copper and allows for excellent conductivity, flexibility, low capacitance, and tensile strength.

This design affords the conductors a twist pitch length of only 0.7", reducing interference by assuring the minimum amount of the conductor is parallel to interference sources at any given section. The result is increased rejection of electro-magnetic and RFI noise, even in close proximity to the source. Cotton yarn is packed in to reduce friction between conductors and prevent unwanted electrostatic build-up and microphonic noise. The 99% braided TAC shield provides additional noise protection and corrosion resistance. Its Neutrik XX gold connectors provide high-quality, corrosion-free connectivity, and each solder point is individually shrink-wrapped for additional protection and to meet network broadcast facility standards.

Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series cables are ideal for use in the most demanding studio, touring, and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Reduce noise

A: No, microphone cables do not reduce noise. Better mic cables, like this one, will not add as much noise as lesser cables.

Q: 2. Hey are Kopul XLR cables made in China? If not, does anyone know where they are made? I know the Neutrik connectors come from the EU. Thanks.

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is China. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 3. Is it possible to use these cable from 2 input of an amplifier to one output of an active filter ? ( merge 2 miss speaker to one output mid of my x-over ? )

A: Yes you can!

Q: 4. What would be the best length for an XLR cable if one were to use it on a 10 ft boompole?

A: For use externally with poles that can extend to 10 ft. we generally recommend a 20 foot cable. This will accommodate most setups and applications.

Q: 5. will this work with phantom power?

A: Yes. Kopul Premier Quad Pro 5000 cables can be used for any audio applications including those that require phantom power.

Q: 6. Does this device improve the input sound coming from a mixer into the H4n via XLR cables?

A: This is a simple cable that will preserve the signal being captured. it does not improve or enhance the signal in any way.

Q: 7. Does it come with a powercord?

A: No. The power for the mics comes from the camera on phantom power or the mic if it is wired up or a wireless/battery mic.

Q: 8. Can this be used with a dual wireless receiver like the Sennheiser XSW dual wireless system?

A: The Kopul XLR Y Cable (XLR-M to Dual XLR-F) could be used with a pair of wireless receivers, although all audio will be mixed to mono via the single XLR output connector.

Q: 9. Does it have 4 x 24 Gauge conductors or do the pairs of braids equal 2 x 24 gauge?

A: I opened one of the connector shells and can verify that there are 4 conductors plus the shield. I cannot verify the gauge or if they are twisted without destroying the connection.

Q: 10. Will the work well from the receiver to the mixer board. I use a wireless microphone for sideline broadcast and it seem the receiver is too far away and the mic cuts out

A: It should work depending upon the output of the wireless receiver.

[Yes] This is a great length for connecting the Sennheiser ME 66/K6 to the SONY FS7. The connectors are snug and feel like they'll last. And for under $bucks... why not get a quality cable?!

[4] Not sure what to say about a 1' cable. The connections are nice, solid, and secure. Feels sturdy, though I don't know how well they would hold up under heavy use. However, How much heavy use are they going to see being 1'? I feel like they are well worth the price. Pretty good deal.

[2.53 lb] The Kopul 5000 has a nice build quality and an affordable price. I run mine from my camera mounted Rode NTG2 shotgun to my Zoom H6 mounted to my cage. It works great and it appears that it will last a long time. I would be interested in testing if there is a difference in the the noise rejection qualities of the 5000 series vs cheaper cables, but for the price I just went with the 5000 series just to be safe.

[24 AWG] I am using several Kopul XLR cables. At 75 feet, this is the longest. the cable works well. For its length, it is fairly easy to lay out. I have no noise concerns with it. It appears to be a quality cable.
