[Black] Beautiful design, robust, a little heavy, but that draws attention with so much beauty and technology. I am still learning to tame it.

[Black] I've only had it a few weeks so we'll see if I change my mind. I have a Blackmagic URSA 4.6k camera which is a MONSTER with battery and lens. And this has done a good job of giving me steady shots. I found the thing easy to balance (its harder with a heavy camera because it pushes down when you try to adjust, so I found if you push up on the camera to lift the weight, that works well).


My problem was really lifting the whole thing for too long...but after I got a cable for the battery so I could attach it to a belt that helped a lot and made it steadier too. I have the settings of stabilization cranked all the way, a little looser and it wasn't quite as good. But I was probably just about maximizing how much this gimbal could take. With a DSLR should be a lot easier. Didn't get to try one because mine weighs so little it wouldn't amount to anything on this and doubt it would even work.


The battery life seems to be good. Haven't tried to use it all day (and wouldn't because of the weight, this is not a rig I'd use all day long...at least not with my camera) but they have lasted a few hours at least with plenty to spare. I'd have to imagine they would last about all day...maybe not a super long day, but if you're using it for that long your arms are probably going to be jelly anyway.


Anyway, so far this has worked well for me, and I really wasn't sure about it. I haven't used a gimbal before so I had no experience, but I was up and running within a day of putting it together and figuring everything out.

[Black] I had one of the original cranes and eventually broke it. I have just started using the 3S and have found it to be remarkable. So much is at my fingertips. I have a Panasonic GH5 on the Crane right now but I bought it to be used with my Nikon Z's also. Love the build and he quality.

[Black] i'm still outfitting it with accessories, but i've really been loving it so far. super easy to balance and use. using it with a jib, using it with magnetic car mounts, using it freestyle. considering a steadicam style vest for it. it's amazing what is achievable at these price points. and the free app can operate it as a motion-controlled remote, as well as updating firmware, calibrating motors, etc. high payload. really happy with what we're getting with this on our team.

[Black] Everything has been going great so far but there is a lot of support lacking online and in forums. I had the shaking issue at first but solved that issue by setting the motors to med using the ZY Play app. Also, the motor that B&H recommends are incompatible so don't order it.
Overall, love that it's built like a tank. I'm using a BMPCC 6k with Sigma art lenses and all is good. Will update in a few weeks.

[Black] I have 2 large DSLR cams: canon 5d mk iv & sony a7r... they both work properly with this gimbal. I have recommended it to all my friends and no one complains. It is durable and versatile.

[Black] I wanted to see if this would work on my Canon C100 Mark II with my Crane 3S. Well what do you know it does work! I had to switch the settings on my camera's remote setting from standard to the other one (can't remember). And on my Crane 3S for camera control I switched it to V-Canon setting, instead of selecting the Canon setting. If you're having trouble, play around with it, I had to. If nothing else works then ask around for forums and of course, zhiyun customer service, they helped me alot. Anyways, I give this a five star rating.
